Well, *all* of us could live in the Rainbow Rd House. At the same time. With our cars.

I guess these would make sense if we had a plural marriage and a couple litters of children.

The Rainbow house isn't terrible inside, other than the obnoxious foyer. But yeah, I look at that and my first thought is "Big Love Compound."

The second one is kind of bland inside, but not terrible. though I can't imagine what I'd do with all that space - it's literally 3x the size of my house. (if you don't include my basement.)

Nonsense. It's like "A House, From the Makers of Legos!"

The rainbow house is ugly. And I can see why everybody is referring to it as a compound. The architect should be taken out and shot.

Rainbow house the inside and outside looks like it was designed by a Realtor trying to go the least expensive route for the biggest space and most amenities. And it was!

The PH one sold for 1.2 in 2006. Now THAT was overpriced for that neighborhood at the time.

It's a nice house.

Rainbow = $825,000

PH = $1,150,000

I'm almost sad to see rainbow under contract. It's the ugliest house I've ever seen in the DC area. Does anyone remember when it was just grass up to the front door and they didn't even have a walkway? Those pictures were hilarious.

I want to drive to rainbow after it closes and interview the new owner on why they thought this place was a good choice.

The PH house is absurdly large, but otherwise seems fine.

Sigh. Rainbow house. The end of my constant fun checking your DOM

Yeah but that one isn't for sale, so less fun to taunt it.

But OMG, yeah architect was looney toons.

Why couldn't the RR house designer have used any of the extensive materials and budget involved and made the front have *any* character. What a waste.
