maybe I should be glad that our 400K condo and "middle class " HHI of $180K hasn't jaded me because that 2nd house is really nice to me- I know we could never afford that! And on here its "well, not a total tragedy"

LOL

the 1st one looks like a converted dorm on the outside to me

Did we already discuss why the PH one is "nearly new"? Is it a demo house that the Bluth family lives in with a convict hiding out in the attic?

You must be new here. The 2nd house is fairly nice, I think DCUM has issue with that price for anything in Pimmit Hills.

I am- I have lived in DC or N Arlington for 9 years and had to google where pimmit hills is. I don't know the names of the vast majority of neighborhoods mentioned here actually.

Did my google show correctly that its in Falls Church? I thought that was an incredibly expensive area to buy a home in- $1.3 isn't standard for those size houses? I am in N. Arlington and we are priced out of SFH here

Falls Church covers both the City of Falls Church (fairly nice) and Falls Church/Fairfax County (some nice, some not).

Crash Course on Falls Church:
22046 - Falls Church City - George Mason = Good
22046/22043 - Fairfax County - McLean = Good
22043 - Fairfax County - Marshall = Good
22042/22041/22044 = Fairfax County - Falls Church High/Stuart = Not Good

Nonsense. It's like "A House, From the Makers of Legos!"

Sorry but lego has better houses but I guess they suck because it's garage facing

In my defense, my knowledge of Lego pieces is still stuck in the 1980s. They only had square blocks back then. It seems the owner of the Rainbow Rd. house had access to the same Legos when doing a mock-up of his design.

As long as you stay out of Pimmit Hills you'll be fine.
