I can't wear heels. Thought I would do a low platform, and I like the look of cork. I'm early 40s, a teacher. My life is not glamorous, so if you don't like these and want to suggest an alternative, please keep that in mind. And can't do $$$. No heels!
TIA |
| I would not wear them, sorry. They look frumpy to me. It's not the heel it's the straps. Just boring and common. Also the color. |
| Very old ladyish. Its the straps. Maybe if the heel was higher it would work. |
NP. Black is a basic. What do you want, hot pink? |
| Well, yes, they do look old lady-ish. That doesn't have to be a bad thing, it is what it is if you want to wear them. I'm picturing your sporting them with capris & a solid colored t-shirt from Loft. Not that there is anything wrong with that if you don't mind that look. |
Your link is to the olive color. |
Much better. |
| OP here again. Just to be clear, I intended the link to show the first pair in black. |
| 2nd pair is pretty cute! (Not a fan of the first one in any color) |
Yes. |
| I think my MIL has those |
And how do they look on her? |
| The first paid is very old-ladyish, regardless of the color. Second pair you posted is much better. |
| The Parkers are better than your first suggestion! Go with those. |
Those are much nicer. |
