Princess Charlotte's 7th birthday today! Here are the pictures!! I love how they always show the pictures of the children for their birthday. Wonder if Harry and Meghan are ever going to give the public a decent picture of their kids..I bet they do the back of Archie's head again! Or maybe his foot?

It's a personal assistant- like any celeb would have - there's a ton of scheduling, logistics of events (flights, accommodations, security), and the who/what/where of any XYZ event or fundraiser or charitable cause.
Some advice on what to wear ("don't wear something low cut bc youll be reading a story to school children and you'll probably be bending g over a lot to look like upu care and are involved"...-type thing).
Some advice on other stuff ("Everyone loves dogs so have Charlitte pose with the dig for her bday pictures that will be released to guarantee instant positive ratings").
Controlling the narrative and PR

Its more than that. Each household has a Private Secretary and they control access to the senior Royal in the same way Ron Klain controls access to the President of the United States. They act as their Chief Advisor and steer the ship of the household.

So, what does this rotation of private secretaries say about William?

That he’s a great person? Or that he sucks big time?

dp Most people are not either/or. There are some days you are great and other days you suck. And I am not just saying "you" but, everyone. People leave jobs for all sorts of reasons and the reason could be very personal and nothing to do with the Cambridges.

Then the same must be said of employees who left the Sussexes.

Exactly.

Why do you want to see pictures of other people’s kids so badly? Creepy

It must be maddening to try and steer a rudderless ship like Prince William’s office.

Hence, the steady stream of assistants.

Yes, it was a disaster. When the Sun agrees it was a disaster, it was a disaster. I realize this is incomprehensible to the utterly delusional Cambridge stan who can’t face reality here.

Not even going to say we told you so...the royals act like their actions are having reverberations both at home and abroad. Those palaces are getting smaller.

Archie and Lilly are private citizens. Why would their parents release their pictures? Can you imagine the outcry if they did?

Only a weirdo or child groomer get excited about pictures of strangers’ children.

They’re also private citizens who have extremely high security risks and needs. Although I’d welcome the opportunity to see pictures of them, I appreciate their parents’ decision to maintain as much anonymity for them as they can, while perhaps leaving it up to the kids when they’re older to decide how publicly visible they’d like to be.

Ohhh they're finally getting that diversity hire...I mean diversity czar. But they're making her Kate's assistant! I can't wait to see the black/Indian lady who is going to be carting around Kate's dry cleaning. Let's go.

The salary is peanuts. No one who is not already unconcerned about money would be able to live off it.

They pay in prestige. And they cannot afford to pay a lot, since the taxpaying public, including you, would throw fits.

They can't afford to pay the people that keep their offices running but they can afford to *checks notes* - toss $500 million at renovating Buckingham Palace which one woman lived in full-time, $15 million to renovated the apartments at Kensington Palace that William and Kate sleep in half the year, and $8 million for both of their country estates (Anmer Hall and the new one announced this summer)?

Hmm...sounds like priorities are a bit off.

See? You are scrutinizing their finances. And I assume that you aren't even British.
