I mean I think William is a bigot and a horrible person. However, the staff truly did a terrible job. Notice how the Wessex staff cancelled their tours before they had to publicly sit there and be essentially fired by a commonwealth country. And their staff didn’t seem to think it was a bad idea to do a photo op of them grazing the hands of brown people behind a fence? Amateur hour.

Maybe their staff hate them, too…?

The Wessex staff cancelled their tour because they saw what happened on the other tour and didn’t want a repeat. If the tours were switched around in order, I’m sure the Wessex staff wouldn’t have canceled their tour.

Maybe but also under consideration is that Edward/Sophie might actually listen to their advisors as more knowledgeable than them. William might have had smoke blown up his butt for so long (and been able to get away with everything) that it never occurred to him to listen to anyone else. Especially since he fired/'relocated' all of the Queen's/Prince Charles' senior-level advisors that originally helped him set up his office. Now his Private Secretary (Chief of Staff in other words) is almost his age and his predecessor was only 33!

Also no one talks about how Prince William goes through Private Secretaries like used tissues.

Simon Case - 2019 to 2020

Christian Jones - 2020 to 2021

Jean Christophe Gray - 2021 - 2022

His first one, Miguel Head, was actually hired by Charles in 2012 to watch over both William and Harry. In 2018 once William got to make his own choices and let him go, it all went downhill.

Contrast it to the average length of Charles Prince Secretaries tenure on the other hand is 6-7 years - going all the way back to his first in the 1970s.

Wow. I never knew this. I’m actually shocked because there were so many stories about turnover with Meghan but this is the exact same thing.

The palace hides anything negative about the Cambridges even though they've lost a good majority of their staff through turnover or firing. There's no one to hide behind anymore and there's no way William will keep Jean Christophe Gray after that catastrophe of a tour so look for a 4th private secretary in four years in 2023.

Where do you get this info from? People post all these "statistics" and they seem so arbitrary and borderline fake.

It's a personal assistant- like any celeb would have - there's a ton of scheduling, logistics of events (flights, accommodations, security), and the who/what/where of any XYZ event or fundraiser or charitable cause.
Some advice on what to wear ("don't wear something low cut bc youll be reading a story to school children and you'll probably be bending g over a lot to look like upu care and are involved"...-type thing).
Some advice on other stuff ("Everyone loves dogs so have Charlitte pose with the dig for her bday pictures that will be released to guarantee instant positive ratings").

Get what from? It's public knowledge. If you're asking about Charles tenure with his Secretaries - again public knowledge.

Its more than that. Each household has a Private Secretary and they control access to the senior Royal in the same way Ron Klain controls access to the President of the United States. They act as their Chief Advisor and steer the ship of the household.

So, what does this rotation of private secretaries say about William?

That he’s a great person? Or that he sucks big time?

That he has a temper and the PSs would rather take their chances in private equity or at Whitehall with Boris. At least working for the MPs guarantees you workplace protections. Its still legal to discrimate based on race etc in royal hiring in 2022. Not even touching on sexuality etc.

The documents also shed light on how Buckingham Palace negotiated controversial clauses – that remain in place to this day – exempting the Queen and her household from laws that prevent race and sex discrimination.

dp Most people are not either/or. There are some days you are great and other days you suck. And I am not just saying "you" but, everyone. People leave jobs for all sorts of reasons and the reason could be very personal and nothing to do with the Cambridges.

Then the same must be said of employees who left the Sussexes.
