Please, stop running this “joke” into the ground. It stopped being funny a while back.

Most kids at this level are pretty close and a few stand outs from the various teams. BRYC has coaching challenges that seem to drive away players. They have also lost some great coaches so will take time time to improve. No need to put any kids down because you know they are kids.

Unfortunately, bullies are all monolingual and the only way to get them to shut up is to stand up to them. This guy continues to come on here and belittle all of the BRYC teams and kids. He needs to stop. As you said, they are kids. Let it go, dude. Nobody sucks and nobody is signing a pro contract this week or likely ever.

Although Myra Konte signed one as have others like Goodson etc. Other clubs are taking notice and will be trying to pick off players from the 2011-2013 with lame promises (eg LMVSC, McLean) and because of their own shortcomings at developing players at that age to understand how to play the game off the ball.

There's a reason kids are flocking from Vienna to BRYC and other clubs - the opportunities are greater. We know both clubs. That age group with BRYC has a few great players and a few who are a work in progress. It's pre-season. Leave the kids alone.

BRYC teams got swept this weekend at ALL age groups, with some embarrassing score lines in several games.

Fake news, at least one team beat SC United.
At one of the age groups they have one GK and that GK didn't make the trip this weekend.

It does seem like BRYC is now the outpost for kids who haven't been able to make - or are in danger of being cut from - the top teams at stronger programs in the area.

The club's current ECNL status, tenuous as it might be, allows the parents to hold onto the illusion (for most of them, obviously some are talented) that their kid is still somehow an "elite" talent, even though they likely could not play for the top team at better clubs.

You have to be a certain type of parent to even care that much about all this crap, but there are certainly positives: even when getting their butts kicked in games, their kids are getting exposure that players on "B" teams at better programs just aren't getting.

And regarding their cellar-dweller ECNL status, as Judge Schmales once said, the world needs ditch-diggers too.

Good catch! The U19 Girls did win on Saturday. So, BRYC, across both the Girls side and the Boys side, played 18 games over the weekend; won 1 game and lost 17!

Sorry, but BRYC no longer belongs in ECNL, there are more deserving clubs for that slot.

Thats not fake news thats dimply poor roster management. you act like the net was left open. When what happened was the GK position was terrible this weekend and they lost.

We see the writing on the wall. BRYC will get removed from ECNL after this year. When it happens BW will take his bobos' or step and fetch its CJ and AF and open up shop at NVUFC and start fresh selling lies again.

Haven’t you said same thing for years? They are not going anywhere.

Maybe they should leave, they are certainly not doing BRYC any favors.
...simply the worst ECNL Club in Virginia.

We left BRYC this Summer for a local MLSNext team. We couldn't be happier. Training is so much better. The coaches know so much more about the game. No BS favoritism and lack of development that we had at BRYC for years.

the u13 girls lost 9-0 and 3-0. Did not score a single goal and got smashed in one game. The 9-0 game could have been 20-0.

Feel bad for the travel on that one.
