How are the 07B doing? A few pages back it said they had found a lot of new players that were going to help turn the team around? Is it better than last year?

They lost their best player to SYC MLS next. The new recruits for this year aren't enough to make them any better. and the year behind them are even worse. The bright side is they shouldn't lose anymore players from that team because they aren't good enough to make any better teams.

We played with them again, did not see change of players. Other team we played changed a lot.

They need to try and pull some of the top kids from the two bridge teams into the 07B and 08B (there are several 08s playing up on 07) pools Both 07B bridge teams each have 2-3 players who would be impact players on the ECNL team.

That team is a lot of U12s and the goalkeeper for the team didn't even make the trip. A GK isn't usually a 12-goal difference but it does belie the scorelines. Congrats to those teams for beating up on a team with players who should still be playing 9v9.

That team is made up of some U12s is because they couldn't field a full team with U13. That is because most of the U13s left for other clubs either this year, or previous year. Just like the girls 2011 age year, they can't even field 1 full team to compete in their age bracket. Again, because so many girls in that age group left for other clubs because they didn't like the coaching and development in the U9-U12 girls side.

I dont think it was meant to be racist as much as him having two guys who kiss his ass. Not every word spoken is directed at the black race. Last I checked CJ is white and those names were directed at him and AF. But Im sure some would find it racist if the PP would have called them the 3 stooges instead. For god sake get your club in order BRYC

Nobody claims BRYC is a destination club. That is those clubs who try to cherry pick the BRYC talent, like McLean, Arlington, VDA etc.

Ok. I’ll bite. Clearly there is an issue at the u9-u12 age ranges. These age groups are not competitive and when they get into ecnl at u13 they clearly struggle. Is it a talent depth or development issue or both. Who knows but parents with talented kids aren’t taking the chance to even find out and who can blame them. At the older ages, I’ve noticed that they have a few good players but the drop off in talent is noticeable and they seem to sub based on time not game flow. Subs come in and any close game gets away from them. A lot of breakdowns positionally leads to them giving away a lot of cheap goals. Lack of elite clinical forwards means goals are hard to come by. This all results in a lot of lopsided losses.
