The FCV16/17s tied yesterday
They play their second game tomorrow
Colorado rush is not in their bracket
None of the U16/17s are good enough to play for the 19s. All of the good 02s were rostered to the 19s at the start of the season.

Question: if FCV 05 plays MU 05 in a friendly and beats them 10-0. Is it an indicator of anything?

Question: if FCV 05 plays MU 05 in a friendly and beats them 10-0. Is it an indicator of anything?

Question. Is there a reason people are so steamed up about Metro 05? Because from what I can tell there are three players from Mcelan 05 ecnl, one player from ODFC/FCV on that team and those seem to be kids people have problems with. And to be honest if your teams are all that superior why care so greatly for those four players. Or is there something I'm missing?

Yes and No. Games get away from teams, especially at the lower ages. FCV 05 beat MU 5 or 6 - 0 in the fall I think. But that doesn't indicate the strength of MU.

I get that. But isn't the whole reason for this is the individual? Do colleges recruit entire teams? Because I see these kids talked about and I'm wondering who the kids are of the parents tearing the kids down? Once again at the end of the day it's about where the individual goes for college etc. So wins are nice, but a college scout knows which kids can actually play are and who are just helping the ball find the feet of the actual players.

Not my team but the 05 scores were 5-1 FCV in the fall and 2-0 FCV in the spring. If anything it shows the defense of Spirit improved relative to FCV over the season. The reputation of FCV fair or not is that they recruit more than develop players. I did not see the games but the difference could be 1-2 players at this age.

MU 05 dad brings up fcv losing to pda and vda losing to mu all the time. Any mention of either team (both are miles ahead of mu 05) is met with those 2 games. Scrimmages and showcase games don’t matter if mu loses but they are a World Cup final if they win. Just scroll though this thread and see how many times he mentions it.
