Is Prince William jealous of Harry and Meghan's popularity?

Goodness, Meghan’s hands look old!

I’ve never understood everyone’s obsession with this family.

It’s great that Kate is finally working. She must have received our message.

As opposed to Kate's face in the picture in the link? We get it, you think Meghan is old, short, trashy, unaccomplished, unattractive....

Prince William is said to be very aware of his status as the future king, while his wife doesn't want to overshadow him. How will they cope with Harry and Meghan’s soaring profile?

By Tom Sykes

The crowds turning out in Australia to greet Meghan and Harry this week, where the couple are on a 16-day tour, are unprecedented.

Crowds of that size have not appeared for Queen Elizabeth on any of her trips to Australia (which date back as far as the 1950s), and Harry and “Megmania” easily eclipses the enthusiasm with which William and Kate’s 2104 trip to Australia—even with crowd-pulling Prince George in tow—were received…. Meghan and Harry could easily steal William and Kate’s thunder. And that really wouldn’t be wise at all.

William is said by some who know him to share one of his father’s less admirable traits—jealousy. Sources have told The Daily Beast that fear of provoking his jealousy is rumored to be one of the reasons why Kate has consistently sought to dampen her public profile and withdraw from public life wherever possible. As the royal biographer Penny Junor told The Daily Beast recently: “I suspect Kate is holding back slightly to ensure she doesn’t overshadow her husband. That is what went so disastrously wrong for his parents.”

EveryonWilliam is also said to be intensely aware of his status as future king, to the extent, sources say, that he is often jestingly referred to in his absence as “King Billy” or “King William” by friends and staff, who clearly understand they are, in his eyes, playing supporting roles. Harry and Meghan’s trip to Australia is part of that supporting role, and no one will be more delighted it is going so well than Kate and William. With another 10 days of this 16-day monster tour still to go, there will be no let-up on the intense coverage either at home or abroad.

ButWhat remains to be seen is how serenely William and Kate will cope with Harry and Meghan’s soaring profile, if, as seems entirely likely, the all-star Sussexes continue to claim a larger slice of global and domestic attention than the decidedly drab Cambridges.

Doubt he is losing sleep over his- Meghan is no match against the elegance, beauty and class of Kate who is by far the favorite. Harry however is full of charisma and charm. That said it’s his kid brother and I doubt there is jealousy of that nature.

The Queen just gifted H & M the Frogmore Cottage (not Frogmore House, which Meghan reportedly wanted). The cottage looks in disrepair.

It's also a stone's throw away from the grave of Wallis Simpson. Their new backyard is a graveyard. It's also in the flight path of Heathrow, meaning a plane will pass overhead every couple of minutes.

Meghan always gets what she wants? Nope. The Queen has spoken, and she has a wonderfully understated sense of humor! The stuck the city girl out in the countryside in a run-down house. I give their marriage five years, tops.

LOL Someone sounds jealous. The Queen gave Harry and Meghan a 10-bedroom mansion and a over 1 million pound budget to renovate. It’s the same as Anmer Hall which was given to William and Kate in 2012 before George was born. Actually Frogmore Cottage is in a better location - in the estate grounds of Windsor Castle where the Queen often spends weekends, it’s also where Prince Charles says he wants to relocate his court and it’s less than hour’s drive from London.

As for Wallis, I guess you missed the fact that Queen Victoria is buried there too and Harry + Meghan now have 45-acres to call their own. Or did you think the royals mausoleum was in the backyard??

It's adelaide cottage, which was built by Victoria in 1831 as a kind of Wendy House, currently broken up into five bedrooms for male staff. Definitely a comedown for Meghan. The photos above are 1) back of Frogmore House outbuilding 2) I have no idea.

Seriously PP needs to pick up the papers. It’s Frogmore Cottage on the Windsor Castle grounds. Beautiful acreage, 10 bedrooms, less than an hour from London, and renovations galore.

“The Grade II-listed cottage is said to be undergoing a multi-million pound refit, paid for by the taxpayer, before pregnant Meghan gives birth to the couple's first child.”
