This is truly horrible. Unless it was a Tim Gunn scrap fabric challenge: you have thirty minutes and a bucket of 2" wide fabric scraps to make a garment. Go!

Do people actually buy stuff like that? And not return it???!!
If so - stop it. It just encourages them to make more crap like that and this kind of waste is truly wrecking the environment.

I love looking at Carbon 38 for cool leaisure and workout gear.

One day will be into paying $130 or up for leggings, not yet.

If you have the money, you have the option of going to a good tailor and having the things you want made. Not only will the fabric and style be right, it will fit perfectly.

Why can't I find good jeans, everything is like 50% cotton and 50% stretchy garbage. Even $150 jeans are mostly spandex. Makes me crazy

I know! I ordered 3 pairs of jeans from Ann Taylor and they're all thin and stretchy, almost like leggings. They're all going back and I'm trying lose 5 lbs. to fit back into my older jeans. Besides that, the back pockets are so BIG now. Side by side comparison with jeans from a few years ago, the back pockets are 50% larger. When they are outlined in thread, that makes my ass look larger too.

I wish we could just buy straight cotton denim like when I was in college.

Right on!
All these deisgners are catering so much to millenials and ridiculous trends that they have forgotten us GenX women who actually have money to spend.
I'm not going in a store until this stupid cut-out shoulder trend is over

I'm an x-ennial and OP is right - and hilarious! Have given up on all stores. PP's tailor suggestion is excellent but I don't have the money for one yet.

Sounds weird but I now get all my clothes on eBay after careful measuring - with some returns. Takes time but I find gently used vintage quality items. Just got a mid-century navy beaded velvet clutch (real velvet, lined with silk) made in France. I can't wait to coordinate it with my Christmas party outfits!

I've complained for years about the absolutely hideous clothing on the market. I refuse to buy period. I will not be caught out in public in the nasty colors and laughable prints.

Grandmother here shopping for gen z.
It seems like basics basics basics when you actually buy and the rest just sits on the page unsold. I’m wearing LLbean and feeling so conservative.
The kids, college age, wear jcrew on sale. Jcrew got so ridiculously expensive.
As for adults: at 40 clothes get expensive.

I’m totally getting this coat and a set of plastic claws and going as a lobster for Halloween! Thanks for the idea!

As far as the loose flowy look goes anyone can see that’s the bankruptcy look. It doesn’t need to fit. So costs nothing to make.

Women's clothes have been ugly for a iong time. Loud jersey tops with big round necks, racks full of this junk. people look but don't buy!
