| The book totally surprised me. I might get HBO go to watch the series. That is how diverting it was for me. |
No. LD is about 15 years older than KD.Plus they have very different facial features, their faces are entirely different shapes, etc. The only thing they really have in common is that they are both blonde actresses. |
I think I'd be vacant and strange, too, with a mother like that. Daily tantrums that are all about Renata. It was nauseating the way she came down on that girl about being bullied. All that cold, expensive luxury with hard edges everywhere. And the poor girl's dad looks like a drunk. I cringed when he told her to go swimming because he looks like he'd easily forget she's in the pool. |
There are 2 episodes left. So still time. |
What WTF? Jane's completely conflicted thinking Ziggy could be violent because his father was violent. |
Now I do, after reading this thread. And maybe Amabelle said she didn't know who choked her because they're identical twins? (Watching the show...Haven't read the book, although now I want to!) |
Didn't the police say there was choking. That makes me think a woman was killed. Or they are talking about a separate incident with Celeste. |
I don't see anyone other than Ziggy or the twins (and a pp makes the case that it's Amabella herself). As for the murder, it seems every adult is a possibility as the victim or suspect. |
So you are thinking multiple people die? Like, The Massacre at Elvis and Audrey? |
They both do that camel hump posture with their arms crossed too- but yeah they look nothing alike. |
This- although I think the rape/ Amabella abuser mysteries are getting wrapped up easily it means anyone could be dead- I could see it being Perry, Jane or Celeste mostly or even Renata. |
| I hope it's not something lame like Ed kills the play director. |
Well, she was married to Tom Cruise, and while he may not have been physically abusive, the mental component was there. |
I agree. If anyone wonders what a good therapist is like, this is it. |
I thought every therapy session was done amazingly well. But the session in Episode 5 last week was just beyond superb. The therapist was exceptional as she managed to hear what Celeste was saying and pull her to say/admit more. And Kidman, again, portrayed such conflict, her facial expressions, her speech, her mannerisms were exactly the woman who just starts to see that she has more to lose if she stays than if she leaves. And then the teaser at the airport when you think she may be leaving, but instead you see Celeste and twins lovingly greet Perry. It's all really well done. |
