My husband said the same thing. It's celeste's boys.

I think Jane murders Perry at the party when she sees him for the first time and realizes he's the rapist/ziggy father and that ziggy'so half brothers, the twinsame, are the bullies.

It does seem to be going that way. So I'm thinking maybe it's too obvious.

Yeah, I hope that's not where this goes. That is so pat and obvious.

I'm thinking its probably the case- I think things are going to wrap up kind of "too" neatly but its still awesomely acted. I think it was clearly the back of Perry that they flashed too when Jane was walking behind Saxon to his office (I mean Alexander Skarsgard is kind of hard to miss even for a second!) and then they sort of made sure to show that exchange between Celeste and the therapist a few times about how the boys don't know, they have no idea, etc a few times in that scene, so at least one of them probably has seen it. That quick flash where the kids were around a dead animal- there were 3 or 4 of them- were the twins in that group? It was too quick for me to notice.

The only kid potential "suspects" we know in the HBO series so far are Chloe (doubtful), Ziggy, the twins, Amabella (doubtful) and Nathan/Bonnie's daughter (doubtful). I don't think they'd have her parents or another adult hurting her. So unless the last two episodes introduce a new character or blame the injuries on someone or thing we haven't seen yet, that only leaves Ziggy and the twins as probable culprits.

Maybe it's someone in her Circle Drumming class.

Well that wouldn't be "pat and obvious".

Anyone else confuse Laura Dern and Kirsten Dunst?

I'm the PP who believes Amabella is hurting herself, including with the "bite" mark on her shoulder. Either she somehow did it herself, or she used a stapler remover or similar tool to make it look like a bite. There is something so vacant and strange about her.

While I'm pretty sure Perry is Ziggy's father/Jane's rapist, it seems like that's what we're all supposed to believe. So maybe there will be some sort of twist?

Also, did they ever say why Jane moved to Monterey in the first place? Why would a single mother with very little income move to a fabulously wealthy area? And has she met any of the other women's husbands yet?

That's just her face. She's an odd looking child.

But Jane also knows the circumstances of Ziggy's conception and is aware that it's not impossible that Ziggy picked up some abusive genes from his father. So that's a conflict for Jane and probably why she feels a need to seek out Saxon Banks.

"Abusive genes"? WTF are you talking about?

I know you all don't want the book to be discussed here, but this was hit pretty heavy in the book. I think. I read it a while ago. But Jane REALLY struggles with thinking that Ziggy could be violent because his father was.

Me too. I'm eager to keep chatting after it's done.

So, without giving anything away, do we think ending will be different from book? I'm thinking so because it would be a little difficult to explain it all in one last episode.
