This absolutely breaks my heart. Seeing the photos did me in.

I'm black and a Christian. My church is my sanctuary. It is where I find solace and peace and strength. To have that intimate connection violated in this way is incomprehensible. To have this stain of violence on this historical church is a travesty.

My condolences to the families of the victims. In spite of this, I KNOW that my God is a great God and those who were taken from this world so violently are now wrapped in His comforting arms.

The US needs a fundemental rethink on 2A. the price is too high to pay.

All this BS from southerners about needing 2A to 'protect' themselves from the government. Do you really think your personal arsenal is going to stop when the police get drones and combine them with MRAP's and other militarization.

Instead of bitterly clinging onto 2A, focus on civil liberties and curtailing police/state power.

Southerners don't want to do that. they want their guns and for the police/the state to be opressive door kickers as long as it is targeted at 'the others'.
