It's actually a nice name, but was ruined by a stuck up college classmate who would always correct anyone who pronounced her name with the typical American enunciation (Nad-ah-lee). She'd always say "It's Nat-uh-lee" with extra emphasis on the "t".
I have a friend whose name is spelled Nathalie. Her mother is from Luxembourg, and I believe that is the European way of spelling the name.
Wouldn't you be pissed if someone mispronounced your name?
As a Natalie, I feel uniquely qualified to answer this. No, I don't give a rat's ass how people pronounce my name. I've been called all sorts of things (Mataly, Nathalie with the 'th' said like in 'the', Madeline, to name a few), and I don't really care.
