Half of this list is a made-up mystery to me. Jacobe? Katiebell? Chasen? Tamlyn? Is this one family you know?

I wanted you to know: message received -- yet again -- on a public anonymous board. Your now deleted comments defamed our religion and our character but, not before I read them to my family. FYI.

Ooh - what did I miss five months ago?

Wait, what??

I can't stand the name Christie. Or Kristie. Or Krystle. Or any of that variation.

which is why I said it seemed odd on this list. Only in this area would anyone think of the town in MD. Nobody outside this area even knows that town exists.

These are not made up names. I do feel bad for the kids. Hopefully they can change their names when they reach eighteen.

A laurel is a bushy plant. As a name, it's less like naming your kid after a town and more like calling your child Daisy or Rose.

There's a Laurel in Delaware, a Laurel in Mississippi, a Laurel in Montana.... They're everywhere.

I looked this up last night - the MD "city" seems to be the biggest one out of about 10 total.

It isn't the same as naming your child after a large city or an entire state. Or a country, even.

whatever. I like it. I get that others don't.
