I think Tamlyn is a fairly common name among the London haute bourgeoisie. Which makes it super-pretentious over here.

There are lots of names I don't particularly care for or am sick to death of, but there are only a few that are literally like fingernails on chalkboard every time I hear them.

For the girls, it's Kaylee, Makayla and Makenzie (maybe I'm just biased against the letter K?).

For boys, it's Colton, Brayden and Grayson.
