Political Discussion
| I'm reading of anti Palestinian signs and sentiments on this page. I was there, and I walked to the four corners of the mall and didn't see a single hateful sign. Please don't spread falsehoods! We Jews have enough to deal with, without fake propaganda |
PP here. I have seen photographs of that incident but have not see it in person. How would I describe it? It it’s the Star of David, it’s unacceptable antisemitism. It it’s the Israeli flag, seems like legitimate political discourse. We can burn American flags. I’ve got no problem with that sort of political protest. Is that wrong? |
Sure! I bet they were all kicked out. Does that mean I get to call for genocide? Seems a pretty easy pass. We would all get to engage in ethnic cleansing that way. What a great way to bond as a people. I guess when you have no sense of morality, it tracks |
Weird post. |
+1. This is crazy. We can BURN American flags and condemn our own leaders but any criticism of Israel, Israeli leaders, Israeli actions, the Israeli flag, or anything relating to and about Israel is outlawed. It's F-ing nuts. |
NP, but how is it weird? Seems like he’s asking whether his Russian heritage entitles him to return to Russia and use violence against anyone who gets in his way. Surely they answer is “no?” He can apply for a visa if he wants, but the land doesn’t belong to him. |
Not fake propaganda. The following signs are reported from the two articles linked below: “Make Gaza Flat Again.” “Many Gaza ‘civilians’ are Hamas in training,” A large drawing of an Israeli flag. “From the river to the sea, that’s the flag you’re going to see." https://www.washingtonpost.com/dc-md-va/2023/11/14/march-for-israel-dc-rally-national-mall/ https://forward.com/news/569729/march-for-israel-rally-washington-dc-antisemitism-gaza-hamas/ |
Did the United Nations vote to establish a country for you there? Did the Russians and Chinese then reject international law and spend the next 75 years trying to slaughter you and your children? If so, kick their a**. I'm on your side. |
True colors. Genocidal at the core. Kill the natives and leave no survivors. This is what we're dealing with. |
|
What is your point? I was there, and it felt like a lot of people were there. I have no way to estimate the numbers so I’ll take whatever the media says - whether it’s 60,000 or 250,000. But what are YOU saying? That Jews don’t have as many supporters as we think? Well, I’ve read this thread and lived in the world, so that is abundantly clear to me. That this is another example of Jews lying? Well, I know that you think that too. I think you’re just on here to spread hate. |
You're right--it is genocidal: Palestinians have been trying to eliminate Jews since before Israel was founded, and haven't stopped since. They slaughtered Jews in 1929. They assisted HITLER in recruiting for the Waffen SS. They rejected the international community's creation of the state of Israel in 1948 and launched a war of annihilation. They have spent the last 75 years launching terrorist attacks against innocent civilians. I'm glad that you agree: the above consitutes attempted genocide. |
NP but — bingo. Good god. That is blood chilling. |
The fact that there were only 60,000 is a good sign. It means that the world has opened its eyes and will no longer accept the slaughter of innocents. A generation ago, no one was taught about Palestine and what the people have suffered over the course of the past century. Today's youth has a completely different perceptive. My hope is that the poor turnout reflects a changing of the guard. Hopefully, international humanitarian standards will prevail, though only time will tell. |
