Why do you need a rally for Israel? Isn't the entire U.S government rallying support for Israel? The others are rallying because those poor schmucks have no representation in the corridors of power, so rallies are all they got.

I am not sure of this, as it is Pro-Palestine side that's clearly winning the infowar on social media not to mention have massive well organized protests. Are you saying there is nothing for pro-Israel protests left to accomplish as we are on their side? Pro Israel protests could focus on negotiating the release of hostages, exchange of hostages/prisoners that could lead to more dialog and negotiations, why would you be opposed to bringing attention to this? There are posters of the kidnapped that are being ripped in every major city and altercations happening as a result of this. Are you supporting those ripping the posters or those who want to negotiate hostage exchange?

I am not opposed by any means. Have at. If you want to remind people about the hostages and their life stories, seems like a worthwhile effort.

People are likely not as motivated to protest (rather than educate) because what the heck more can they expect the US govt to do? The “pro-Israel” side has “won” in that congress and the president are ready to send aid to israel without any conditions and to continue to veto any UN resolutions telling israel to knock it off. What would one be demanding of the govt? Sure you can petition Hamas to return the hostages but that does not seem like a productive use of time.

Seems like you need to go to Israel and rally for hostages there - i don’t see how the US is responsible for the citizens of another country. It’s up to BIbi and the IDF to negotiate or find them, neither of which they seem to be doing.

Bibi could have negotiated with Hamas and got all the hostages released. You have to remember who you are dealing with in the Israeli government. They do not care about Israel hostages.

Bibi and company do not want to talk or remind the public about the hostages. Hostage = Bibi and his government letting Hamas cross the border unopposed. If the hostages die during the invasion of Gaza, they will be martyrs to the cause.

DP. There are US citizens among the hostages.

The protest could feature pictures of hostages. Presumably, the weird weirdos tearing the pictures down off of walls wouldn't confront protesters.

There is one planned for mid November.

Let's not forget who you are dealing with in Gaza. Hamas, the terrorist organization, that kidnapped civilians and sadistically murdered many more. They are the ones who don't care about the hostages.

That's why we need the rally - to remind people like you not to equate the sides.

Couldn’t the same be said for the Pro-Palestinian protests? People want to rally to show their support for a cause and, to the extent it matters (arguable if it does for any rally) tell the government what it is interested in achieving. The US has a relationship with Israel and can use that to push for things like trying to secure the release of hostages.

Negotiation with terrorists never goes well.

Sounds like it will pale in comparison to the millions who have marched around the world for Palestine. An epic fail and embarrassment- at that point I would just stay home and not risk further highlighting that the support just isn’t there on a mass scale. 2 million protested for Palestine in Indonesia just this past weekend! Stockholm had a massive protest… and I’m only naming a few.

Every country has done wrong. That's immaterial. We can't just say that Palestine, alone, gets a pass from war when they commit terror attacks. As they say, don't start nothing and there won't be nothing.

The media and politicos used to convince us that Israel is the only democracy in the ME. So obviously not true anymore. Mass killing and bombing do not rhyme with democracy.

A successful rally should not be “pro-Israel” maybe a march for the hostages???
