What do the non mask wearers think today when they see someone wearing a mask

Your body, your choice.

Same. It’s the respectful thing to do.

Lol. True story. And it wasn’t even that long ago in the DMV.

There's a maybe early to mid 40s guy who walks by my house daily, alone, in a N-95 mask and gloves. He used to wear a gas mask looking thing. At this point I'm assuming there's some mental health issues going on.

Who is 'we'? I'm not wearing a mask because some overweight, unhealthy dude is in the hospital "only" with a "cold" (yeah, right, it's always more than that).

We, in our family. For some reason people keep asking about it here. That’s the explanation. Have a good one.

"I wear a mask because I read an anonymous post on an Internet forum."

I understand that you’re aiming to be insulting, but I wear a mask because I know the attitudes expressed here are common and will lead to me getting COVID more often than I care to.

No one is wearing masks nowadays except for a small number of people in the airports. Unless someone is sick, why wear masks?

NO ONE? Do you live in the DMV? Not saying it's a lot but you def see masks in this area in stores, uber drivers, sometimes in the city just on the streets - like people who are going into an office.

People here are smart enough and news aware enough to know Covid IS something and isn't just a cold no matter what the CDC has said. Seeing a mask just reinforces the idea that maybe they SHOULD be doing something to take precautions, but they can't because the peer pressure to go to dinner or whatever is so great. So it's much easier to just sneer at the masked person as being a loser. Very high school behavior.

I think "that person is wearing a mask". And, that's it.

For those of us who aren't highly educated, what something is COVID?
