Age to leave child alone sleeping in hotel room to go downstairs?

Did OP ever come back to this post?

The fact that they say "putting to sleep" to describe the situation makes me think they had a very young child in mind.

Im the mother of several kids in their late teens-early 20's and I don't "put my 17 year old to bed." I don't think I would use that expression for a kid over the age of six or so.

You shouldn’t have had kids OP

We have done 12 (with 8 yr old) to get coffee.

14 (with 10 yr old) to get a drink in the evening. But I would not do it when they are asleep. Only when awake. They are not ones to try to leave the room but we were in communication and all was fine. If I had a thrillseaker, I would not have done it.

Definitely don’t do it in any kind of Wyndham. They may sex traffic your child or someone may try to gain entry to your room. Google it. The problem is real.
