JR (not being an actual attacker) would run out if he thought CB didn't want to see him. One possibility is that she was already mortally wounded when JR and BB came into the room together. Just one possibility. There is no risk of JR calling police if BB (posing as CB) is telling him to wait in the foyer "until my husband comes home" and they are supposed to come into the room together. We don't know what JR was being told by BB or JM when they were posing as CB.

The theory of the case has to explain how CB was in the bedroom naked when JR was also there. One explanation is that she wasn't conscious when JR was there. Another explanation is that CB was alive and expecting BB -- but instead of BB coming into the bedroom alone, BB arrived with JR, and then BB killed CB in front of JR. That seems fraught b/c maybe JR would try to stop BB from actually killing CB. But, if JR thought it was all play-acting, then he might play along until BB pulled out a gun and shot JR too!

Anyone with a theory must explain why CB is naked in the presence of JR, and she wasn't running away or hiding in the bathroom.

BB set it up with both of them under gunpoint, had her undress, etc

Yes, I read the article about evidence suppresion but the crime story made no sense. A woman got killed, her au pair saw it, there was a random guy from the internet, and her husband involved somehow,.

I’ll bite but this is what the posters of this thread think happened:
Husband (who is Irs law enforcement) having affair with au pair, crreates fake profile for wife on fetish website and sets up date with guy to come to house for a threesome with knife play (where he is supposed to pretend to attack her with knife as foreplay). Au pair leaves for school drop off with kid, husband leaves for work. Guy shows up. Au pair says she realized forgot kids lunch so returns to house; husband returns home as well (can’t remember why). Realizing someone in house, husband tells au pair to bring young child into house but leave her in basement alone (weird). Someone (probably husband) stabs naked wife multiple times in bedroom. Call to 911 made from au pair phone but hangs up. Husband shoots guy once in face with his service revolver. Au pair gets husbands other gun from safe and shoots guy in chest, apparently while he’s already down. 13 minutes after first call, au pair calls 911 back and husband says he shot an intruder who was stabbing his wife. Guy is dead when ambulance arrives and wife dies en route to hospital. Within weeks, au pair has moved into marital bedroom sleeping with husband. Au pair was arrested a long time ago, husband just arrested this week.

Isn’t it possible that the wife was just sleeping in late on a rare day off and happens to sleep without anything on? I mean, lots of people sleep in the nude, so that is entirely possible. Or, she was getting in the shower after the au pair and her daughter had left for the zoo.

It’s really not that unusual for a person to be nude at that time of the morning, whether sleeping in, or showering, or just getting dressed and ready for the day.

That’s why I thought BB stabbed her first thing. She could be sleeping and naked. Then he had JR coming in the house and shot him as soon as he entered the room.

I mean I think the obvious solution staring everyone in the face is that she was there naked in the room because she was expecting JR. Then, when BB came inside, he shot JR, and then started stabbing CB, and that's when AP went to get the second gun to shoot JR instead, because BB was busy stabbing CB by then. So gross to speculate about this, I don't feel good about myself doing it. I feel so sorry for their daughter.

But the AP watched JR go in the house (or saw the car in the driveway when she came back for the lunches). And BB came back after that.

Or- hear me out- CB and JR were just plain old having a fetish meet up. And the AP comes back for the lunches, and BB comes back when AP calls him and asks him to come back because of the strange car. And BB goes upstairs while AP brings the daughter into the basement (weird, but, ok). And BB happens upon his wife and JR, and takes the knife play knife and stabs CB and shoots JR. Although, there would be defensive wounds, and BB probably would have been scratched up etc from CB and JR if this had gone down this way. I havent heard of any defensive wounds on BB from any articles.

It's not out of the question that she may have been drugged the night before (Brendan's birthday) and was unconscious when JR entered the house and unconscious when she was stabbed multiple times, which helps to explain the lack of "struggle" in the crime scene and lack of defensive wounds on BB.

But the timing on that doesn’t lineup. There was a lag in time between JR entering the house, the Au Pair coming back to see his car there, calling both Christine and Brendan separately, and Brendan having to put down his sausage egg McMuffin and drive home and enter the house. You’re saying JR went to the house and all those minutes transpired and he never called 911 with a bleeding woman he was supposed to be banging? Sorry, but that just doesn’t add up.
