The Ds certainly made errors. But don’t dump R misinformation on their laps. |
Yes, we get it. You don’t want to do anything about racism. |
"CRT is not taught in schools" over and over is not listening in good faith because the issue is not what label to use. |
So, the answer is to teach more racism? Water down math requirements so everyone has "equity?" Eliminate merit requirements for equity? etc. Tell Black kids that they are victims and therefore cannot get ahead unless white kids admit resonsibility? Go read the curriculum materials that were on FCPS website earlier--wokekindergarten.com Go read "Not My Idea" which is being used in classrooms. etc. |
We got it. You don't want anyone to know that this all straight from CRT. Why is that? |
So 92% of predominantly black, poor Petersburg and 76% of predominantly white, affluent Arlington voted for McAuliffe. Who needs the black vote when you get the white, privileged vote. |
What was said on the other side? You’re criticizing one phrase out of context. How could Ds “listen” if the Rs could never explain what they meant or provide any details? Were Rs able to articulate what they actually meant by CRT? Were the things they called CRT actually happening anywhere in VA? Where were all of these cases of kids forced to line up by race? Reverse racism? |
Yes, the opponents of CRT explained exactly what they mean on national television, on the internet, in books and in school board meetings. There are ample easy to find critiques of CRT from both left and right wing perspectives. A long thread about CRT with examples from schools is in the Politics forum right now. Not the first one here. |
Do you mean the long thread titled “CRT s not being taught in VA schools!” in which no one can even agree on a definition, let alone provide examples?
|
Plenty of examples on that thread and all the people supporting CRT say is "liar" and "racist." There is another thread about liberals concerned with identity politics, in which all the liberals who don't like identity politics are told they are liars and racists. On Twitter, you can fond many discussions of CRT where Ibram Kendi himself says his opponents are lying pr being racist. I can pretty much guarantee that Youngkin voters are quite aware of what CRT is and that they themselves are considered lying, racist or stupid. If CRT didn't get them, then their "stupidity" for thinking schools should have opened earlier or that parents should have a say in education did. It's really long passed the time to be pretending everybody is stupid, lying, or racist except you. |
Pretending? ![]() Ok. If it’s so obvious what the definition is and so easy to provide examples of that happening in VA, please share. You can copy and paste from those posts. |
The example are in the thread. There is a link to a pretty good article on CRT in education from Edweek. I suggest you read it or use Google. After years of this deliberately unnamed perspective flying under the radar, a smart opponent hung a name on it and started a conversation about. It may take a while to get up to speed and I have no desire to help you. |
Or you could read them. Or does the fact that you express yourself with an emoji mean that you are illiterate |
Sixteen precincts left and Terry has whittled Glenn’s lead to about 65,000. No idea of this includes late arriving mail ballots. The AG race is very close. Guarantee Team Terry is watching this very closely. |
Actually, WE get it. You don't want to admit the above nonsense is derived directly from CRT. It's ok. We can all read it for ourselves and know that Democrats have been gaslighting us this entire time. |
