Sounds like Brett might have been a naughty boy during a summer clerkship. #boyswillbeboys

She really doesn't post/report much at all on social media, especially regarding feminist sorts of topics, but this to me speaks volumes about how women are feeling.

This is a big thing.

She believes Ford on what basis exactly?

Because women who have been in her position, know.
Women just by being women, have often been in this position and are fed up with being the "boys will be boys" BS, or the dismissals, or the name smearing. We're fed the F up. Even the old, conservative aunties are tires of this sh!t.

As a woman who has been assaulted, I firmly believe in evaluating each case on an individual basis. Group guilt is a very dangerous path to go down.

Indeed.

You don't want to know. Neither do I. I want Kavanaugh to come to his senses and make all of this awfulness stop.

I thought Collins was a Yes. Now she's inching closer to a Maybe.

Kavanaugh accuser Ford fled Washington life -- now she's coming back
https://www.washingtonpost.com/local/christine-bla...8-8792-78719177250f_story.html

Ford went as far away from here as possible.
She told no one for 30 years; the only thing worse than what happened would be others knowing -- the nightmare scenario of which is currently underway.
She became an expert in post-traumatic resilience; Thursday she will face the ultimate test.

Meanwhile Kavanaugh stayed, following the stellar path laid out for him, achieving great success in all facets of life, now sitting atop the Washington society they both grew up in -- many of us know it well.
That society, by and large, is with him. To attack him is to attack them, and the lives they lead.

Amazing Washington story.
Sad for all involved.

Welcome to America's caste system.

Did you see the press conference of 75 female Kavanaugh supporters.

DP. This is wonderful. I'm glad that at least the Kavanaugh's can show their daughters this. Not that it will make up for the horrible things that have been said about him, with no proof whatsoever.

Avenatti:

I represent a woman with credible information regarding Judge Kavanaugh and Mark Judge. We will be demanding the opportunity to present testimony to the committee and will likewise be demanding that Judge and others be subpoenaed to testify. The nomination must be withdrawn.

Another shoe just dropped.

Avenatti just announced he represents a woman who has credible information about Kavanaugh. They want to talk to the committee.

Is this the same woman in the forthcoming New Yorker bombshell? Or a different woman?

Monday is going to be insane. And I thought Friday and Saturday were nuts.

This Supreme Court confirmation process is mortifying. And very, very disappointing.
