Anyone met with AART yet to review GBRS?

I want to make an appointment to do this, but am nervous!

DC in pool based on test scores. I am thinking the files have gone or will go to central screening committee by this week's end.

No, I am waiting until things settle down for them. I think they were supposed to have the referral files submitted yesterday but with all of the snow problems I am probably not going to set up an appointment until after March 17th. I'm sure some of those deadlines were extended so referrals were submitted later than expected.

Thanks-looks like last week of March would be a good time to allow for delays.

I met with our AART almost 2 Friday's ago. She said our files had already gone in.

Why don't you get a life and stop making insulting comments on things not pertinent to the thread?

No, but I asked DC's teacher and she told me what she thought she remembered giving him.

You are beyond absurd.

Our AART didn't require an appointment and I didn't talk to her about the actual scores. I sent her an email telling her I wanted to see the GBRS and she emailed me back saying a copy of the scores would be waiting for me in the office. (This was last year.)

PS - She also didn't release the info until after decisions were back.

We were talking to DC's teacher last week and she mentioned the GBRS. I so wanted to ask the score BUT decided I'd hold back. I didn't she'd give it without an actual sheet in front of her.
It would suck if she verbally told me the wrong score.

You can and should see the complete file with the AART-it gives you a lot of good information about how the teachers see your child, how they think he/she learns best, etc, and which work samples were included in the screening file.

I agree, no matter if your child is found eligible or not, it is insightful to see the file.
