It is so un-American. You’re the accuser. You get on the witness stand. You testify. You make your accusation. You get cross-examined. THEN the accused responds. It turns the entire legal system on its head. It is INSANE to ask an accused person to deny the accusation before he has heard the accusation being made and cross-examined. Sure, the FBI should continue its background check. It should also call everyone else who may have been at this party. All of that is true. But the idea that he goes first? I want to hear from the American Civil Liberties Union. Where are they? This is the most fundamental denial of due process.

This is not a trial.

In any forum, the accused must go second.

And the second one just as irrelevant as the first.

On the other hand, the second is the reason I don't think Kavanaugh would throw Garrett under the bus and why Whelan acted without BK.

This is a big thing.

She believes Ford on what basis exactly?

Zip.

It isn’t. You have opinions, as do we all. You are not an objective arbiter of facts, notwithstanding your imperious, moronic, hot takes.

Because women who have been in her position, know. Women just by being women, have often been in this position and are fed up with being the "boys will be boys" BS, or the dismissals, or the name smearing. We're fed the F up. Even the old, conservative aunties are tires of this sh!t.

The story can change every day. They don't care. They're all laughing at the hoopla they're creating. What a circus.

Well according to Mazie Hirono, Kavanaugh can't be telling the truth because of his judicial philosophy. Scary this woman is on the committee.

Scarier that this woman has a law degree.

This calendar stuff weirds me out. Imaginary version. Sunday: church, church, and more church. Watch football. Maybe try this new ethnic food called nachos. Tuesday: Britches for new navy sports jacket, striped tie, and Oxford shirt. Wednesday: study the Laffer Curve. Thursday: pretend to bully the neighborhood nerd with glasses (just joking!). Friday: movie. Maybe Fast Times at Ridgemint High? Party later? Saturday: free time.

This is good.

I have been one of the posters who thinks CF's story does not hold together in the least.
