Why is Blake Lively so overrated?

She has the nervous energy of a teenage girl yapping about nonsense to keep a guy from kissing her. She comes across as childish and unprofessional IMO.

When he says cut in the end, it couldn’t be any clearer to me that it was acting.

“At one point, he leaned forward and slowly dragged his lips from her ear and down her neck as he said, ‘It smells so good.’ None of this was remotely in character, or based on any dialogue in the script, and nothing needed to be said because, again, there was no sound — Mr. Baldoni was caressing Mr. Lively with his mouth in a way that had nothing to do with their roles. When Ms. Lively later objected to this behavior, Ms. Baldoni’s response was, ‘I’m not even attracted to you.’”

What did the attorneys base that on? Not reality after viewing that scene. So disingenuous.

Was Ryan Reynolds was watching on set? The slow dance scene?

Just going to note one last time before stepping away for good that this thread is a total pile on on Lively. Just like the Amber Heard thread was a total pile on on Heard. Even though the same people in this thread who are piling on Lively now say they actually supported and believed Heard as a victim of DV/SH. Same sorts of comments in both threads about the putative woman's complaints about a man actually hurting REAL victims. Same sorts of comments about uppity women going too far and not realizing the man would ultimately outsmart her in effect etc.

I dunno, maybe people on DCUM really do just think this way, but personally I find it gross. You guys are the worst. Carry on without me though.

He may have seen her text messages or knew about their late night sessions

Even after he says cut he was friendly/flirting.

Yes, we know, you say this every time it’s clear your opinion is in the minority. Again, it’s also very harmful to fabricate sexual harassment claims.

Where’s the poster that was insisting Blake’s legal team was top tier? I feel completely justified in calling them mid.

They, and the Lively/Reynolds PR folks, have to be shitting their pants right about now.

He's creating a website.

I an here for this after the smear job she and the team have pulled. Maybe she'll settle so we don't see the text messages. Hunky Ryan can write a check to Justin Baldoni.

It’s also innocent until proven guilty, and you seem to think it’s the other way around. She made the claims, and she has to back them up.

I think they were thinking the retaliation claim was really persuasive given the documented list of “demands” that Wayfarer agreed to, plus the texts from the PR agent about the smear. I don’t think they expected the underlying harassment claim to be so persuasively (in the court of public opinion!) discarded. This is why sexual harassment lawyers generally go through several rounds of private demand letters & mediation before filing publicly …

If you are perceiving a pile on, go back a few dozen pages and you will find pages and pages of support for lively and people trashing baldoni. It shifted as he started coming out with evidence countering her claims.

Yeah that's not the lawyers fault. I don't think Blake or Ryan were being completely honest. It's not like Blake or the other costar never complained about him. We know they did. The circumstance at least with Blake were exaggerated.
