I realize clinic staff can’t leak this because of HIPPA, but I wish someone would. |
You’re on page 240 and you’re still pretending that the GOP isn’t going after abortion, birth control and women’s rights? Lol. Okay. You’re obviously one to be taken seriously. |
If they think they are stripping this right away they are very mistaken. This battle continues and needs to be fought all over by getting representation for women's rights on the SCOTUS. As long as that takes it takes. In the mean time, we are back to dangerous illegal procedures in many areas. It is terrible. |
| It's amazing how badly Trump screwed the women of this country. None of the Republican presidents since the 80s, including Reagan, had a problem with abortion rights until the GOP started realizing they needed to cater to evangelicals to get elected. Then, they all changed their position. Including Trump. Also, Kavanaugh, Gorsuch and ACB are the world's biggest liars. We have three pathological liars with lifetime appointments. This country is so screwed. |
You know perfectly well that everyone is entitled to an opinion on a topic. Deal with it. |
That tiny hands con artist will be gone one day but this fight will not. |
Your opinion will have no bearing on the choices most women will make. |
BS. A child does not exist until it is born. Sorry. You may hold that religious view, and you are entitled to hold it. You are not entitled to force your religious views on others. The Constitution at its adoption did not protect blacks or women, and certainly did not protect fetuses. Reversing Roe means a state, under the US Constitution, can force women to carry a pregnancy to term. That is a form of slavery. |
I get that you think you have all the answers. |
I have the answers for me as I should have. Your answers for you are none of my business. |
This. It has been decided that women and POC are actually human beings deserving of rights now. |
You're expressing your opinion, and I'm expressing mine. The laws are what count. |
What is your argument against those who hold that view but not from a religious standpoint? There was an interesting WaPo article last year about irreligious/atheist pro-life people. I agree with PP that equating a forced birth to slavery (a lifetime of human bondage) is not a fair comparison. |
Doubt that very much. It Samuel Alito thinks most women are going to stand back and figure..". Gee, that old timer told me that this decision will be made for me by the state of Texas, or the star of Florida, or the state of whatever, so that's that"..he is the one in a fantasyland. We can't control that alito and his ilk have no respect for the agency and power women will take over their reproductive lives, but we can control and exhibit that agency and power. |
Many women are able to make mature decisions relevant to their reproductive lives without aborions. |
