Proving once again that the foundational motivation of people with a pathological aversion to inanimate firearms is their fear of their own repressed rage, violence and psychosis and what they might do with a gun if they had one, projected onto objects and other people. |
Also armed outside Seaton Elementary. |
Well, that seems safe!
|
Stay on topic please. We’re not discussing that. |
DP. The topic is gun violence in DC. You’re more likely to get shot by a crew member than a Republican in this city. It’s not even close. |
Cite? |
| Good grief. There are no republicans in dc. The people shooting stuff up are mostly African American males who have illegal guns. Tucker Carlson is not mowing down his friends outside le dip for goodness sake. |
Nope. He kills people more broadly. |
#Truth |
Lol. You obviously don’t live in DC. |
+1 Two truths |
Correct, I don’t. But I’ve been to DC, and I wasn’t scared. I’m far more fearful of the white trash across the road from me who shoot guns in their backyard regularly. People in rural areas apparently do that, which was a shock to me when I moved here, having grown up in Boston and then NYC. Living in Frederick county, MD is like living in a battlefield what with all the shooting going on around me. And it’s all permissible by law. It’s insanity. |
“White trash.” Judgements at all? And surprised that rural people safely enjoy firearms on their own property entirely in accord with the law? Not really a credible assertion. There is “insanity,” all right. Between your ears. |
This thread is about DC, on 14th street. These could not care anything about where you are. You can start a thread yourself to bash the redneck gunnuts. |
The Republicans don’t hold the guns in DC. But they put the guns in people’s hands. Scalia and Wayne LaPierre might have well have dipped their hands in blood while passing out guns in DC — or across the river in Virginia. In fact, the Federalist society justices and the NRA leadership passed out a lot more guns with their jobs than if they had handed them out personally. |
