CTCL schools

There were far more from the more selective LACs like Amherst, Williams, Wesleyan, Swarthmore, Haverford, Oberlin, Carleton, and Pomona, but CTCL colleges were well represented. I hadn't heard of several of them before law school. Their alumni did just fine.

Way to sneak Oberlin into your list of elite LACs!

Some of the top students in my class went to flagship state schools (like Illinois, Georgia, and Indiana). I also remember someone from Rhodes (which is a CTLC) and small schools that aren’t CTCL (like Sewanee and Albion).

The funk is Albion? At least Sewanee and Rhodes are reasonably well known.

Say it louder for the people in the back: No one cares about CTCL. Stop trying to make it a thing!

There are actually people who are paid to make it a thing so...got to wonder if some of them are on here.

No one is forcing you to read and comment in this thread.

Oberlin is less selective than top NESCACs and more selective than most or all CTCLs. Several in my very selective law school went to Oberlin (more than CTCLs like Whitman, Lawrence, Kalamazoo, Millsaps, etc.) I myself did not go to Oberlin.

Yeah, and the majority of pages are filled with people telling the CTCL boosters to stop with their grift.

Seems like people who don't care about CTCL would choose not to read this thread.

Yes. Oberlin is definitely more selective and better known. Kenyon, Macalester, and some others are lso more selective and better known than the CTCLs but not as selective as the NESCACs.

Name the law school so we can see for ourselves how many went to CTCL schools undergrad. You can do that easily without outing yourself, and it will give you the credibility that right now you are lacking.

I'm not the PP, but attended a school listed here and classmates attended Chicago, Georgetown, Harvard, and Michigan Law. Then a number, including me, who attended Ivies for grad school.

Let this thread die. CTCL is not a real thing in the real world.
