Truly trying to understand why when a decision has been made that the team does not openly post the new roster for 2021-2022. Tip toeing around and listening to gossip/speculation is ridiculous. And for the record, the vast majority of teams do this so I'm not targeting anyone specifically.

Just because they said yes doesn’t mean they are committed. There is a ton of negotiations going between families and different clubs.

What negotiations? This isn't NFL free agency.

This comment shows you are clearly new to lacrosse, especially at the higher level. Initial offers are made after tryouts, however, most clubs, especiall mid-tier clubs hold spots back hoping to grab some girls who are cut from top teams. Also, like airline reservations, most clubs extend more offers than spots, knowing some kids will make a top team. Also, kids who didn't make any of their top choices are also having special tryouts with new clubs.

I doubt any girls clubs except MAYBE heros and m&d have anything close to a locked roster at this point.

Cool story....That's why M&D dominates and dysfunctional clubs like Pride lose.

I am wondering why all the Pride hate. Their teams beat every team in NOVA. Yes the MD teams are better but only a handful of NOVA girls can make any of the MD top teams.

"Beat every other team in nova" is hardly something to put on your resume. Aside from Stars, which neither the 27s nor the 28s played pride this summer, there are no other clubs on the same level. Who are "all" the teams in nova you claim they beat? Metro, madlax, cardinal, cavaliers???? They are a different level of club entirely and don't even play in the same brackets at tournaments.

M&D rosters ar being updated every day as people reject their offer for a different club.

More to do with the owner and dissatisfaction there. There is a reason people are leaving from the older teams. Sure, 1 to 2 leave and that is normal. But not the mass exodus that is happening.

Using threats as a regular business practices doesn’t exactly build confidence.

Like the normal threats of loss of playing time if you don’t practice, hit the rebounder, and so on?

Ha ha. No. Like threats to kick you off a team if you go to another club’s clinic or think about trying out for another team.

K demands complete loyalty and has no problem manipulating kids. As strong as the MS teams are now, I would bet some of the parents of younger families are seeing the future and leave for Stars or other teams.

I am surprised everyone at Pride doesn't see this. Maybe the 25 domino really shows the true colors of the program.

Seems like they are starting too. There is the big exodus from the 25s but also some leaving from other teams, just in smaller numbers. It's been a very telling summer for them.

Historically Pride lost 10-20% as girls went to High School. This year it was closer to 50% across all three 25 teams. It is a very telling and consistent story, but will there be any changes? Tryouts just ended so we shall see what KM has in store for the fall. KM needs help. She can't be everywhere at once and that is what people expect especially if they have a weak coach.

HISTORICALLY? WTF are you talking about? Historically, Pride lost 100% as the girls went in to HS because there were no Pride teams. The first HS team, (Panthera) Pride Black ‘22 had zero players from the old Pride Red ‘22 team and has a handful from the Pride White ‘22 team. The Pride Red ‘23s and ‘24s mostly stayed because they were cajoled and threatened and manipulated into staying by KMG. The ‘25s got smart and did what they wanted - which meant 100% looked around at other clubs and went to other try outs too. Until rosters are posted publicly no one knows for sure how many Pride Red ‘25s will be on the Pride Black ‘25 HS team.

And FYI, PP, a club owner isn’t supposed to “be everywhere” or coach every team. An owner is supposed to run a club, hire the best people, build loyalty through trust and good business practices and solid results. If the owner doesn’t have sufficient “help” it may be time for said owner to look inward and reconsider past treatment of colleagues, friends, employees and parents/players.

This thread is absolute proof in parents' ability to destroy youth sports. Well done parents, you must be so baffled at the smiles on your kids' faces after a loss, because they are there to have fun with friends and get over it WAY faster than the average parent.

As a parent who has been with several clubs. I can tell you the grass is almost never greener on the other side and sometimes the devil you know is better than the devil you don’t. Every club has coaching problems. Every club has communications problems.
