I think so. His comments about the CCPTA really pissed me off! Like they could do that! It’s clear he never watched a SB meeting before or was active in the PTA or paid attention to any of it! He doesn’t know how the sausage is made, only cares that someone cooks and serves it to him on time. GMAFB! I’ve been at this sh** for a decade now, but then again, I’m a mom, so . . .

Does insulting and talking badly about people on an anon forum make you feel better? If you disagree with this dude then reply back and have a conversation. Everyone needs to grow up and stop gossiping and talking badly about your neighbors. If you have an issue with a policy or a platform or whatever it is discuss it, but just talking trash about each other on here does NO GOOD. There is a reason suicide rates have skyrocketed since social media and forums like this were created. Bullying and toxic negativity does absolutely nothing except depress people and make people feel alone. Can we all go back to the if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say it at all mantra?

I can't call out the aggressive a-holes myself on AEM so, yes, it does feel good to do it here.

I don't see YOU calling out all of the mean dads on AEM for their poor behavior either. Why pick on people here?

And, for the record, it does do good - the Twitter account was locked.

I have not read all of these prior posts, and frankly that seems like it was wise. But can anyone speak to the title, whether APS is planning school shifts in the fall? That would be a real mess.

Given that one side (men and women) thinks that they're above it all, yet have anon Twitter accounts that only seeks to divide the community, and the other side has such a "big tent" that some true Grade A a$$holes flex their toxic masculinity, we should all call it a wash.

1st I'm not on AEM and I'm not picking on anyone, just reminding everyone you have an impact. I don't know who this is or the background but I think its good to remember simple courtesy and respect go a long way.
2nd Blaming someone for your behavior is a classic move. "He made me do it" or he's an a-hole so I have a right to be one back.
3rd Based on your reaction maybe I hit a nerve.
4th Reasonable people can disagree - there is not one right way of doing or thinking anything, so if you cringe or recoil seeing something you disagree with maybe examine that for a min rather than digging into your side.

We are in the midst of a crisis where everyone is struggling from anxiety, isolation, depression and so on. Maybe instead of being part of the problem if we were all a bit nicer to each other that would go a long way of inspiring hope and kindness. It's a ripple effect.

Everyone has a right to not be bullied or harassed. And if you have been I'm sorry and wish I could give you a hug. If everyone on here could remember that you are talking to and about human beings and your neighbors that would be good to remember I think. We all act like there isn't an impact of our words. Like how we honk and yell in traffic but would never do that directly to a person in a grocery store line. I for one am going to try to remember to treat others as I'd like to be treated and will try to teach my kids to do the same.

I thought APE was terrible. SR really showed their asses too. Disappointed. I guess no group is looking out for our kids, just oneupmanship.

I'm sitting out this SB race.

Why are you assuming there are only two sides?

There are plenty of people who don't belong to APE or SR (or AEM). There are also plenty of people who aren't strong supporters of MT or MK.

Why are you lumping disparate groups together?

What do those groups have to do with the school board candidates?

No there has been no mention of that for this fall. The title came from one proposal from MK a few weeks ago as part of a demonstration of her willingness to brainstorm creative ways to get everyone back 5 days per week if a more normal situation wasn't possible.

This 20pg thread started there, with whether this shows she is willing to think outside the box to solve hard problems, or whether it shows she has poor problem-solving skills and why can't we just open all schools five days per week tomorrow. The kicker is that this particular issue will not be facing either of these candidates, one of whom will take office in December. I'm far more concerned about how each will grapple with all the other major issues facing APS, and what qualifications and relevant experience they bring to the table.

Oh, good grief! Miranda Turner is APE, and is 99.9% getting all her support and campaign money from the Open Schools Now folks.

I still haven't seen any evidence that Kadera has truly disavowed herself from SR, who won't support Turner, that's for sure. After this Twitter stunt that they pulled, SR is in no place in making endorsements, even virtually through their public and anon outlets.

ArlDems isn't giving me a real choice for SB members, so bye til the primaries.

So you have no idea who anyone is or what has been happening? Why do you think this "advice" would be helpful when you don't understand the context?

My hope is that these guys who are acting like aggressive DBs will step back and reflect on their behavior. And maybe acknowledge that they shouldn't attempt to bulldoze their way through everything. If I didn't fear retribution and impacts to my livelihood I would happily post this myself on AEM or contact them directly. But I'm not going to do that, so anonymous forum it is. Not everyone is a doormat.

SB 1303 requires in person instruction for the minimum number of instructional hours required by law. Her shift proposal was a way to meet that instructional hour requirement and not have to do lunch. Lunch seems to be the biggest hold up for her and others. So she suggested something like 7 AM to one and 1 to 6 or something along those lines. She also drew out a classroom and couldn’t fit everyone so this is a way to fit everyone. Really solved the lunch issue. She seems to be focusing on not eating indoors and distancing.

Hi. I'm the person with the screenshots from that um Twitter account. I see there's some interest in me really sharing them. I don't generally do something like this, but I'm done with the hypocrisy of SR. Fight screenshots with the same screenshots.

Since you can't put pics here, I just need to figure out how to share widely anonymously. I also intend to wipe out the email address and name of the original FOIA requester.

APE really is working hard to attack others in order to deflect attention from their little exposed plan to recall the School Board members.

Wonder if they will still go through with it. Not such a great look for the Miranda campaign.
