“”My lawyers that I fired, know the whole story about MG’s involvement,” Greenberg wrote to Stone on Dec. 21. “They know he paid me to pay the girls and that he and I both had sex with the girl who was underage.”” From the Daily Beast article.
Also it sounds like Roger Stone was one of the people running interference for Trump, at least on the pardons, and that Trump was taking big money for pardons. And Gaetz let Greenberg twist in the wind. Hello, MAGA? This is who you are. |
Aside: is it legal for Roger stone to be accepting $250,000 to influence Trump to pardon Greenberg? |
Would not that be delicious if it were illegal... |
Bribery. It also nullifies any potential pardon that may have been granted. |
I wonder how the Daily Beast got ahold of screen shots? It seems that either Greenberg or Stone would have to have given them unless the feds have clones of their phones. The article linked above also says the Greenberg confession letter is handwritten and a handwriting analyst compared it with known Greenberg writing samples and he's the author. It seems like Greenberg isn't getting what he wants from Gaetz and has decided to puke it all out. Isn't Greenberg still in jail? If so this is probably coordinated with his attorneys and/or the feds to tickle Gaetz into some sort of action.
I think Gaetz is going to be arrested. I hope they snatch him off stage while he's touring with MTG. |
The fact that Gaetz STILL has committee assignments and is STILL in the Congress is all you need to know about GOP acceptance of criming. |
Ladies and gentlemen, this is your GQP |
+1 I wonder how many of them are guilty of similar crimes and are hoping none of their accomplices get picked up. |
Yeah, I think Greenberg is probably serving up Gaetz to try to get a better deal with the feds. |
If they had solid proof, he’s already be in custody. |
Roger Stone was apparently asking for this confession as a condition of seeking a pardon for Greene. I wonder if Stone or Trump or someone was collecting blackmail material to ensure future cooperation by the likes of Greene & Gaetz in the future. |
This. This is the craziest part of the story. WTF was Greene thinking? |
I kind of skim-read it, but it sounded like he had to write multiple versions with greater detail. Like the Scientologists with their “auditing.” It does seem like it was intended to create more blackmailable material. |
Greenberg is a nightmare who walks like a man. Read some of the earlier links on him, it’s grisly. |
Sure, but why did he write it all down and give it to Roger Stone? |
