Don’t you read the previous post I’m relying to? It’s talking about alleviating traffic for the other four schools. It doesn’t make any difference for them

RM is on 355. Gaithersburg is on 355. Quince Orchard is on 28 at 124. Northwest is on Great Seneca Highway. Wootton is on Wootton Parkway.

The point is that if everyone is honest, when Crown is stood up, they'll redraw boundaries that make sense to everyone.

Parents want to be close to the kids school for logistical reasons. The more you stray from that, the more difficult it is to justify.

If someone wants to turn Crown into a political hot potato, it won't generate a lot of sympathy for the school system - and right now the school system needs all the goodwill it can get.

I wouldn't put it that way. It's Cabin John that has split articulation to Wootton and Churchill. But all of the Cold Spring zone articulates to Cabin John, then Wootton. A split-articulated elementary school would be one like Diamond, where some kids from the ES will articulate to Lakelands Park, then Northwest, but others articulate to Ridgeview, then Quince Orchard. (Lakelands Park itself is also split-articulated between Northwest and Quince Orchard.)

And yea, I meant CSES split articulations starts in MS where that ES is the only one in the cluster that goes to CJMS. The rest of the ES in the cluster goes to Frost. Then they all end up in Wootton. Same thing will probably happen with some ES and Crown HS.
