I don’t think most crown will be split articulation at ES level. They also have split articulation of fallsmead and Ritchie park.  That will not set the new high school well. Kids will hate going there that they are forced to separated from their friends.[/quote]

I wouldn't put it that way. It's Cabin John that has split articulation to Wootton and Churchill. But all of the Cold Spring zone articulates to Cabin John, then Wootton. A split-articulated elementary school would be one like Diamond, where some kids from the ES will articulate to Lakelands Park, then Northwest, but others articulate to Ridgeview, then Quince Orchard. (Lakelands Park itself is also split-articulated between Northwest and Quince Orchard.)[/quote]
