Withholding exculpatory evidence is not law and order.

I think this is more about becoming a witness in a dispute with the lawyers from Covington.

Nope. Justice just announced charges against Flynn being dropped.

I just saw that news. Unbelievable. Wow. Wow. Wow.

That's why Brandon Van Grack withdrew. Can Bill Barr be any more corrupt?

No it's not. He withdrew from other cases that are unrelated to Flynn's, as well.

The judge can still send him to jail. It doesn't rest with Barr.

That said, this is a major flash point for this DOJ, this AG and rule of law in our country, or what is left of it.

A very sad day in America.

No justice! Being a traitor in America is ok. Sad!

Barr is trying to spare the president the disaster of pardoning Flynn (and Stone). Why? We already have a lawless president. We don't need a lawless DOJ too.

Is it even possible to drop the charges after the defendant has pleaded guilty and is awaiting sentencing?

Here's the DOJ motion. It is only signed by Timothy Shea, the DC US Attorney Barr installed. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1-TXDaPLtWHvU-htU8I6h15bD6MsC3uC-/view

The judge can no longer send him to jail. The prosecution is ended.
