Este just showed the area how much pull he has. Hes bringing coaches over and just put SYC IN CCL. Will SYC parents see the difference now? Probably not but just wait, your going to get better competition at CCL than NPL (vpl). This really shows how committed he is to changing SYC. Your a fool if you think you dont know the difference between leagues yes some parents dont know which is why you have clubs like PAC or FPYC which is barely aflout. Mark my words.. 2 or 3 years LMVSC will be gone from CCL and will be a low club trying to get anyone to join like Gunston. SYC won plain and simple I dont hate or support either club but a realist.

You're the same poster who keeps posting with the grammatical errors. Despite what you say, you're clearly a part of SYC. Your conclusions are delusional at best. The coaches he's bringing are taking the jobs of current SYC coaches and they will be finding different clubs to go to. Those families will be going out of their way to follow coaches. Also, the SYC top players are supposed to play in CCL2 for a year with the promise of playing in CCL the following year? What hyper competitive NOVA parent is going to agree to that? Please learn about punctuation and grammar before you reply, it's really quite embarrassing. Spellcheck isn't a new invention.

Your Attack doesn't change the future for YOUR club. The smokescreen on grammatical errors and punctuation will not keep you afloat (lula)

Your delusions can be treated by medicine and therapy. The future of your club rests on the ability of your TD to bring over players from another club. Nobody at SYC seems to think anyone is going to leave. Your parents and players see the shameless recruiting and they will be ready to walk at the end of the season. 0 commitment to development, 0 commitment to your players, and 100% commitment to posting as much on any media platform that lets you.

I think its safe to say attacking someone on grammer on DCUM is someone who needs medicine and therapy.

Especially if it's over a disagreement on youth soccer. As a post reminded everyone not every parent is niave anymore they know the difference between leagues and this will be a eye opener for anyone with some sense. For a long time LMVSC survived off the kids from SYC who were tired structure at the club but no more will you be able to do that. Who will go to Lee now? I hope lmvsc succeed but it probably will not.

That's debatable. A social media expert, for sure. A Technical director that's committed to developing players and coaches, not if you go by his product at LMVSC.

LOL At least the thread is entertaining. SYC vs LMVC should be the thread subject.

Best of luck to your U14s as they carry you to state domination and DA status.

Ad hominens are certainly pointless, especially on an anonymous forum about youth soccer. But, grammar nazis are as they are.

Interesting perspective. This implies the club was only successful because of Este (and his cabal).
What if that success really took the club in a deleterious direction? Such as when player development ceases to be important, as long as you have a strong team. As has been posted on this thread, and I've heard verbally, the culture was overly focused on the A teams, and the B/C teams were just left to figure themselves out.

Sounds like LMV has a uphill battle with no TD and now neighbor club at the same league as them. Conflict?
Anonymous
If Este did a great job at LMVSC, they will be fine without a TD for now.

Este should be worried about the kids leaving SYC. The parents are not impressed with what is happening right now. There are more clubs in the area than SYC and LMVSC. The guy in charge of the SYC Soccer Board's kid plays for ASA for goodness sakes. They are not loyal in the program, no one is.

I'm not sure he's the only board member whose kid plays for another club.

He isn’t.

Anonymous wrote:Probably a dumb question, but if SYC isn't in CCL II until Fall 2020, and they are getting kicked out of NPL at the end of this spring, will they just put all teams back in NCSL?

Most of the top teams played in EDP, I would think they would stay there until ccl1.

That should be the first question at the town hall meeting.
