Ad hominens are certainly pointless, especially on an anonymous forum about youth soccer. But, grammar nazis are as they are.

Interesting perspective. This implies the club was only successful because of Este (and his cabal). 
What if that success really took the club in a deleterious direction? Such as when player development ceases to be important, as long as you have a strong team. As has been posted on this thread, and I've heard verbally, the culture was overly focused on the A teams, and the B/C teams were just left to figure themselves out.
