Bullock to run for Senate in MT

Nice. My newly retired father just established residency in MT. He's keeping his house in California. A ton of California retirees are moving to Montana right now - he knows at least 3 other couples doing the same this year. Cheap real estate, clean air, on the doorstep of nature.

What happens to Montana Governorship?

Bullock is term limited so he’d be out in January 2021 anyway. His Lieutenant Governor is running against reporter assaulter Greg Gianforte.

OMG. We need to support this Lieutenant Governor. Gianforte is evil.

Yeah I’m surprised that Gianforte guy didn’t get censured for assaulting someone. Hooray for Bullock running!

Wow!!!!! That’s great news. Time to donate. That could be the 5th seat the Dems need for control of the senate.

Just saw this showing that Democrats have non-trivial leads in four GOP held Senate races:

NORTH CAROLINA:
Cunningham 46 - 41 Tillis

MAINE:
Gideon 47 - 43 Collins

ARIZONA:
Kelly 47 - 42 McSally

COLORADO:
Hickenlooper 51 - 38 Gardner

Of course, Doug Jones is likely to lose in Alabama, so that would be a net 3 for Democrats. Whichever party held the vice-presidency would be the tie-breaker in that situation.

(This doesn't include the Montana race which probably just became competitive for Dems.)
