Nice try madlax. You've been outed by having at least 1 16 year old for 2024's next spring league and 3 on this year's 2023 team and you are spreading lies on other clubs. It's too bad cabell was caught entering a 5th grade team with 15 6th grades on the roster.

HAHAHAHAHA! Honestly, do you really think Madlax cares at all about NL? Each Madlax team at every level is better than NL. I agree that Cabell is a jerk and got caughting... BUT if you really think that NL or DCE is any better - You need your head adjusted. We as parents are the ones STUPID enough to pay these club owners.

Of course MadLax is better. BECAUSE THEY CHEAT, dummy. They use older players who have been held back and then repeated a grade because somehow these idiot parents are deluded. They had 3 sixteen year olds on an 8th grade team. They had 15 6th graders playing on a 5th grade team. It's more likely than not all their teams are stacked with double holdbacks or older kids playing down falsely.

Every team should protest every game against ML at all divisions.

Not looking for snarky comments - but what happened to the 2023 team? They were really good last year and appear to be bad this year. Did players leave for other clubs? or is it the coaching?

It is the former. DC Dogs/Express added what they subtracted. However, "really good" is subjective. They did well at the World Series last season none of the other local teams played. They are not terrible, they are just not at the top tier either. I would not say they were dominant and really good may be pushing it last season, they are also not BAD this season, but a few key players leaving and they are not as good.

Didn’t the 2023 team only win one game this season?

In the past all the clubs tried to make the tryouts on the same day and it was hard to make them all.

Sure, but they were originally scheduled for August and now they are one day in mid-July and another day in mid-August. Not coincidentally, I believe, the new July date is before both the Madlax and DCExpress tryouts...

Madlax has already held their tryouts. Did so in May.

Then what does this mean?
https://capital.madlax.com/capsummer

"We will have open tryouts for new players starting May 28...
Note: The Madlax All-Stars start of the year is June, not August, like many other clubs. Our season is June 1, 2019 - May 31, 2020.

So, if your son plays summer 2019 season he is AUTOMATICALLY promised a roster spot on a Madlax All-Star team in the fall of 2019. "

MadLax is perfectly willing to take any kid and stuff them on the back of a 25 player roster so long as you write a check. For that privilege you get to have your games forfeited for illegal rosters while your kid doesn't see the field.

Madlax basically has tryouts all the time. They are always trying to get new kids and and do not hold one tryout, pick a team, and play all year. Instead they have tryouts in late summer, spring, early summer, etc. Always trying to organize new teams and recruit new players. Why? They want your money and they create multiple different teams to get it. Madlax is the joke of the club world now. Everyone who is serious about lax and has an older son knows it. The only legit Madlax team is DC Dogs, which is an off shoot/partnership. Other than that it is a scam.

That's truly pathetic.

That is 100% true. Two of the kids in 2024 that I know personally are awful players. Didn't even make the rec A team.
