You have hit upon what Taylor will propose in the operating budget on Dec 1. Schools with higher needs will get greater resources than previously. |
I'll believe it when I see it. For this year's budget he included an "equity allocation" that was really, offensively tiny. Like he just wanted to put a line in. The budget that said "equity" but not allocate any real resources to it. |
Some also enjoy learning and have an interest in it. |
Colleges consider AP and IB as comparable. Many colleges just understand AP more than they do IB because AP more clearly mirrors how low level undergrad classes work. |
They don't "just understand AP more" - they often allow students to get credit for AP courses but not necessarily for IB courses. This can have significant financial implications for students. |
How nice it must be for you for money not to matter. |
Not at all. |
People like Taylor are great - they live in $3.5 million homes, but are equity warriors too. What a life. |
You know you are in MCPS when the BOE passes a budget with a so-called "equity" add on that totals $2.5 million, less than the value of the Superintendent's house. And that "equity" add on is split between over 200 schools (even the richest schools got an add on). Taylor's like mansions for me, pennies for thee. |
There is a very recognizable tone for the Einstein MVC poster. She has been on this thread for pages |
She hasn't said MVC for a while but she has other give aways |
see if you bring up MVC she'll bite. This is her. |
She posts a lot but she is hardly the worst here. What about the multiple racist WJ posters? So disgusting. |
I’m not rushing my kids through college. |
What is your obsession with mvc? |
