If you could know the truth about any unsolved mystery, which would it be?

Same. The chauffeur's family and friends emphatically stated he did not drink, but the authorities claimed his blood alcohol level was very high. Uh, huh.

I think to royal family sold Diana out, just like they did Megan and Harry, and intentionally put their her/lives in danger. I don't know they purposefully intended for it to kill Diana and/or Megan but were rather indifferent. Their selling stories, lapses in security and open hostility to anyone other than Charles/William and their immediate orbit. The family is totally bizarly coddling Camila and catherine but destroyed Diana and Megan. I believe in our lifetime the truth will come out about how $hitty that family is and what they've done to destroy Diana. The truth behind what they did to Megan will come in my children's lifetime.

You people are crazy! Get a life. Diana died for one very simple reason: she was not wearing her seat belt. The only person who didn't die was Trevor Rees-Jones, her bodyguard, because he did wear him seat belt. As for Meghan and Harry, world class whiners and narcissists.

This sums it up. She sadly had very poor judgment. Instead of being with a guy who was engaged she should have been home with her kids.

Wow, JD Vance is on this board? How unfortunate for her that you weren’t able to dish out your judgmental sexist parenting advice before she died. If only she had known that women aren’t allowed to be anything other than mothers!

Did you listen to the podcast? Fascinating story.

NP- I loved that podcast! It was fascinating. My take on it is either the son did it, or they had some very shady dealings (personal or business) that have not been uncovered because it involves so many prominent people. The fact that the kids had the house destroyed with belongings in it is beyond odd.

It was a nursing student with a serious alcohol problem who disappeared into the snowy woods after crashing her car and BROUGHT the box of liquor with her. Unfortunately I don’t see much of a mystery to that one.

But body never recovered?

This is actually much more common than people realize. Even with extensive searching, it can be very hard to find a body in the wilderness. Add to that the fact that there were really no signs of foul play, she’d clearly run off in her car to be alone for a few days , and brought enough alcohol to kill a horse, and refused help from a passerby, if I were the state police I don’t know how much additional millions I’d want to spend searching for her body after the initial search.

I can maybe see the parent(s) applying the duct tape and wrist ties... but not the business with the garotte and the paintbrush, nor can I see a little kid Burke's age coming up with that. I just can't picture loving parents doing that to their child even as part of staging a crime scene.

I just watched the first episode and it doesn’t add up. Her wrists were not lightly bound; but very tight. Those neck wounds from the garret (which took quite a bit of skill). She was alive when the garter was made (her hair was caught in it) and the neck torture occurred at about the same time as the head trauma. The autopsy tells a story of torture, not an accidental wack on the head after she stole a piece of Burke’s pineapple or a “cover up.” Patsy comes across as a complete liar and the Fad comes across as innocent-ish. Burke is clearly autistic but that doesn’t make him a psychopath. I would pick Patsy if it wasn’t for the sexual assault with the paintbrush. It had to be the Dad.

And the fact that the police got the DNA results that exonerated all three Ramseys and suppressed that? That DNA was found under her fingernails and on her underwear that belonged to an unidentified male? And that Boulder police planted stories with friendly reporters that were fake implying the Ramseys did it?

Do you have more info about the DNA? I had read that it was “touch DNA” that could have been from whoever manufactured the underwear, and that it was not enough to make the police think anyone else had really touched her body

Under her fingernails too?

The police were obsessed with explaining away the DNA and tried to trace it back to the manufacturer. But how would that have gotten under her nails?

I don’t know, that’s why I’m asking if you read anything different. I didn’t read that it was this large amount of DNA or even that it was skin under her nails. Just the same touch DNA which I read could have been just from her putting on the new underwear with her hands. But I don’t know of course.

You would then have to believe that Patsy put those panties on JB for the first time ever that night and without washing them. That’s ridiculous.

The child wet the bed late at night, she grabbed the new panties to put on her in haste. Doesn't seem at all weird to me.

But the photos of the bed taken by the cops show that the bed had been slept in, and that the sheets were dry.

I’ve been to DPRK. I’m sure he took it down. If he was drunk in the “island” hotel for visitors he could have easily done something stupid, and they took it seriously and made an example of him. Also, the tour guides there aren’t your friends. They would report him or they’d get in trouble, if they’d seen it. Our group quietly questioned things in whispers away from people, but he was a kid and stupid, and probably drunk because there’s nothing to do there at night but drink in the hotel and do karaoke. You have zero freedom if you visit.

North Koreans live up to their barbaric reputation.

Killing someone's child while he's a guest in their country, over a poster.

Are you actually stating that tearing down a poster was worthy of brutalizing a guest in your nation? Please clarify what you stated, but I hope I got you wrong.

You act like some five year old tore down a poster because he was having a melt down. Someone smart enough to get into UVA and with parents who could afford to pay for a trip to North Korea should not have done something so stupid. I went to an international school in Indonesia and some stupid American kid decided to vape pot in an outdoor cafe. He was sentenced to four years in prison and came out half human. He is still living with his parents and will never be capable of independent living.

NP. Come on. That’s very obviously a mischaracterization of the PP’s post. She’s saying that he probably did take it down while drunk, because there’s nothing else to do in the evenings. He clearly did not deserve the punishment he eventually got, but the NK government chose to make an example out of him. I agree he probably did “do the crime” because I don’t think NK would just randomly choose an American tourist to scapegoat if there were absolutely zero grounds. There’s always a minor crime/violation underlying these trumped-up political arrests (see Brittany Griner’s case too). That does NOT mean he deserved to be tortured.

Where are the names of all the people who partied on his island?

Wired Magazine has a list

Where are the prosecutions of the people who availed themselves of minor sex work on Epsein's island? How do we have Ghislaine Maxwell in prison and lists of who attended the parties and yet no articles of the powerful people he was trying to blackmail?

He definitely didn't sucide.

Ask the incoming US AG who was prosecuting or not prosecuting people at the time.

Clearly you’re the one with the reading comprehension issue. Of course it’s barbaric, we all agree on that. You asked the PP whose post you quoted if she was justifying NK brutalizing a tourist over a mild infraction when she very obviously wasn’t. She said he probably did it (it seems that we all agree he likely did) and the NK government decided to make an example of him. She certainly didn’t defend it.
