What happens to Kamala’s momentum now the DNC is over?

There is no defending it based on facts.

Except you should replace the word MAGA with Dems. What you describe is more recently tied to Gaza protests, issues with an open border, and pop-up DEI consultants who capitalized on fear mongering.

Yeah, that must be why POC, women, and Jews largely vote for the Democrats. Because they're the party of racism, misogyny, and anti-semitism.

Past tense. 😬

you've got it backwards, my friend.

as just one example, the Republicans and MAGA stand with Israel and Harris and her group support Hamas. who is the anti-semite?

Please show one iota of truth of the assertion that "Harris and her group support Hamas"

A link, a video quote, something or anything.

The gaza protests are not core democratic party leadership - they are fringe at best to the party and more likely most of them cannot even vote in the US.
Open Border- who killed the border reform package? It wasn't Harris or the Democrats. Border crossings currently are at 2019 levels.
DEI - is that the current version of CRT? That fad sure passed, didn't it?

It's really no contest.

You'll see after the 9/10 debate.

Harris is better than Trump even without comparing any policies.

Only because she’s NOT TRUMP.
C’mon. Give us something to work with.

Being NOT TRUMP is perfectly acceptable when your opponent is...checks notes...Trump.

Millions of us were in far better shape under Trump's first presidency.
No inflation. Lower grocery prices. Lower gas prices. Peace around the world. A secure southern border and about 10 million fewer migrants residing in the US. Laken Riley and Rachel Morin and Jocelyn Nungaray and many others alive.
I'll take this any day over what Kamala has brought us.
So, it would seem Trump > Kamala

And you really believe Trump was responsible for world peace and that Covid and its effects had nothing to do with inflation etc? I am not even going to address your craven evocation of murdered women to score political points.

Under Trump we got lifesaving vaccines in record time. Funny how that’s a convenient afterthought.

And Trump could run on that. Why won’t he again? Maybe we should remind his anti-vaxx base and the anti-vaxx loon he is using to push JD out about his vaccines?

Agreeing to advanced purchase orders for the vaccines was one of the few pieces of competence the Trump Administration executed.

But then, he vilified the vaccine to the extent that "red" state residents died at a greater rate than "blue" state residents who took the vaccine.

And now, he has partnered with RFK Jr, the poster child for the Anti-Vax movement.

Call her stupid all you want. She’s not. She’s a former prosecutor who has run a campaign with amazing message discipline— and discipline, period. It’s going to be an amazing contrast to Trumps rambling and erratic behavior.

Plus, she’s younger than Trump and much more attractive. I think the visual of youth v age and Trump rambling and her shrugging, saying she can’t respond because he’s incoherent and weird and looking younger and better is a JFK v Nixon moment.

She does not need to be policy heavy to win because Trump’s main policies are grievances and retribution. Her upbeat campaign will do well against that.

Plus, Trump is on his heels. He has yet to find a good response to her. None of his insults are sticking. He can’t even land a good nickname.

Maybe I’m wrong. But, I think Trump looks like Biden did in his first debate when he goes against her. Definitely think more people than normal will tune is.

What is her message though? Other than criticizing Trump and throwing out some grand ideas she can never accomplish, what’s her platform?

If she has one then she hasn’t made it public yet. Maybe at her first press conference this week she’ll tell us.

If you think she hasn't made it public yet, then you simply are not listening to her or reading her website.

https://kamalaharris.com/

this is her website. Where are her policies?

DP - thank you for pointing it out. There are no policies listed her website.

It’s ok. Who needs policies when you have joy? And her and Walz are just so nice…

They won’t talk to without a teleprompter. How is that nice?

Walz very famously didn’t use a teleprompter til he became the candidate for VP. I swear some of you just happily baste yourselves in a marinade of right wing propaganda and wonder why it stinks in here.

Let’s Be real. The problem isn’t with Walz. Rather, it’s that Harris gives the public a middle finger each day that passes without a press interview.

She’s coasting, which precisely how her aides have described her work ethic. Then there are her promises, which have shown she lacks a basic understanding of economics.

I fear she avoids the press because the empress has no clothes.

That's the same thing they said about Obama. And every Dem since Bill Clinton has been labeled a left wing radical. It just gets to a point that these criticisms don't mean anything except the candidate is a Democrat and you don't like them. That's fine, but it's not actually a real criticism. It's a preference.

+1 Every Democrat is the devil incarnate, each further left than the last, all are always branded “communist,” “socialist” or “Marxist.” Every time. There’s a reason none of the usual smears are sticking.

It’s not a smear. It’s literally a fact that she was a more liberal senator than Bernie Sanders who honeymooned in the Soviet Union. But in the past five weeks she’s disavowed the prior decades of her policies. Why?

+1 I cringe every time someone repeats the convenient new allegation that she’s a “moderate democrat.” Yet she was voted as the most liberal member of the senate in 2019.

Let’s talk about that.

https://amp.cnn.com/cnn/2020/08/17/politics/kamala-harris-most-liberal-senator-fact-check

Who the f cares? Most of these policies are incredibly popular. Oh, and the right spent years branding Biden - a classic moderate - as some kind of commie Marxist. You have no standing when you actually support a white supremacist fascist.

Prove your point with something other than name calling. The Biden presidency has been a rerun of Weekend at Bernie’s, with who the h$ll knows running things behind the scenes…my guess is a bunch of idealistic 30 year olds.

Harris formerly supported eliminating private insurers in favor of expanded Medicare. Not popular.

I can remember what medical treatment was like before Obamacare. All we have now are horrible wait times, shuttered practices from cumbersome paperwork requirements, disorganized patient care, and doctor/nurse shortages. No thanks. We don’t want worse.

Then why didn’t Trump repeal the ACA when he had the House and Senate to do so?

The border is WIDE OPEN.

Biden/Harris did that.

And she has no plan to close it, nor how to deal with the 12 million economic grifters she let in over the last 3 years.

By the way, where is Kamala today, on the third anniversary of the debacle of the military withdrawal from Afghanistan? We know that Biden is relaxing at the beach, but where is she? And for that matter, where has she been all weekend?

President Harris has been busy running the country

Not good

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-13778321/Michelle-Obama-feud-Biden-Kamala-Harris-DNC.html

After reading this piece, the Democratic elite sounds like entitled high schoolers fighting over who’s gonna run for Class President, complete with all the back-stabbing, rumor-mongering and hurt feelings of fully-hormonal teenagers.

Makes sense, since the DNC convention was perceived by many to be equivalent to a young child’s birthday party. No substance, all fluff, plenty of lies and stretching the truth throughout, complete with surprise appearances of music and movie stars! Oh yey!! Problem is this was full-grown adults, not kids with pimples. To add insult to injury, once you left you had a headache and/or stomach ache once you left the party. Too much yelling, cake, sody-pop and sugar. Hilarious!

Reap what you sow, couldn't happen to better people. Democrats' identity politics trapped them into nominating Harris and now they'll go down with that ship.

That Daily Mail piece is actually about nothing. Try again, PP.

Someone posts a link to a Daily Mail piece, and you think they'll do better if they try again?

You have a lot of faith.
