Battlefield over Freedom 4-3 in OT. Defensive Battle all night with neither defense really allowing anything to get going or quality shots on cage. 1-1 at the half, abd Freedom was up 2-1 at the of the 3rd.

1Dominion over 4Tuscarora - Should not be too hard for the Titans tonight
2Valley over 3Heritage - Fairly even teams but LV has a distinct advantage at the X

1Woodgrove over 4County - playoff experience in 5a last year helps Woodgrove here. Revenge game for only district loss this year at LCHS?
3Broad Run over 2Champe - BR looks like they lost something from earlier in the year and Champe has 6a experience- upset, maybe

1Riverside over 4Stonebridge - crazy to pick different
2Briar over 3Indy - thought this would be the best game after last weeks thrashing by Briar they don't have a shot

Best shot for an upset - BR at Champe- Can BR right the ship and get one back?
Pick'em game- Valley/Heritage could go either way. Valley won in OT last time at HHS. Cant really call it an upset if they are even teams
Revenge game- Woodgrove gets back at LCHS for only district loss
Locks: Dominion, Riverside, Briar

Long term book it prediction(s)- Riverside wins their district, region and 5a states again, everyone else fights for 2nd place.
Long Term could be wrong but - Atlee or Salem (over WAHS) wins 4a with NO NoVa representation in the finals.

I don't see the region brackets posted to MaxPreps yet, so not sure if the format changed from 2023.

If things are the same as last year i would say that yes they have a shot and would most likely be FSR and Battlefield advancing 1/2 pick the order yourself, last game was 3-4 in OT.
I only see FSR playing MVHS round 1 and they should dispatch them easily.

Top 4 teams in the district make it to regionals, so… Briar and SB are still in the mix. Fun game to watch tonight though!

Was Riverside off tonight. Surprised by score but Stone Bridge hung around in Robinson game earlier in season.
