My kids loved sleeping in, and then sledding and building snow castles and making snow angels (ES age).

Rest of you Karens, can't wait to hear your outrage on Friday when MCPS will close schools again. Its been so many years since we had a good snowfall and instead of letting your kids have fun, all you care about is missing school. Weren't you ever a kid?

I doubt you actually have young kids. The snow was quite fluffy-- it didn't stick at all. You weren't building snow forts with what we got this week.

I do have older ES age kids. On Tuesday it was fluffy but yesterday even though they couldn't make a snowman, they took the beach pails and made snow castles. Snow was good enough for sledding.
