Are you with Tom Brady or with Gisele Bundchen?

I saw that Page Six article but read it differently. People keep framing the debate as over Brady playing in the NFL or not, which misses the point. If Brady had stayed retired but threw himself 150% into other business ventures that took him away from home just as much, they would be having the same issues. The problem is not the NFL, it is Brady making decisions that are 100% for him without any consideration of how those decisions affect the rest of the family. He seemingly took for granted in making this decision that he could do whatever he wanted and Gisele would mop up behind him, never mind that she has her own professional goals and made commitments under the expectation that he would be home more, because that’s what he promised to do. She’s reached her limit on playing that role in their marriage.

That she missed his home opener because she is in New York for photo shoots and business meetings says it all.

She had no problem with it when he was carrying on with her very publicly while his heartbroken ex gf was pregnant with his child. He showed her who he was then and she was a willing participant. Boo hoo.

Well, that’s true. Everyone knows that when pregnancy is involved you should stay together regardless of whether the relationship has run it’s course. That’s why we have such a thriving and healthy Relationships forum here on this fine website.

Not what I said. They could have been discrete and not rubbed it in her face. But who cares how your behavior affects your unborn child and his mother when it's all about me. Again, she knew who he was and shouldn't be surprised now.

How about not creating babies if the relationship has run its course?

I still have questions about the break up. Did they know she was pregnant when they broke up? I always thought they broke up and then very shortly after she found out she was pregnant.

.

That has consistently been the story since she shared that she was pregnant, and the dates line up with her getting pregnant right about the time they broke up.

Also, she gave their son Thomas as a middle name, which suggests it wasn’t all that acrimonious a break up. I mean, not too many people would name their child after the guy who dumped them for another woman after learning of the pregnancy.

I remember a rumor that the pregnancy was a last-ditch attempt to hold on to Brady but it could be just a rumor. Bridget Moynihan has always taken the high road.

And they’re just another celebrity couple. And yet here we are talking about them and giving our opinions so no reason to get a grip.

I don't think that makes sense - she was 2 months pregnant before Tom & Gisele even met. That's early days but still predates any fear of losing her grip.

It’s called an accident and quite possibly because of trying to save the relationship. Takes a bit to find out you are actually pregnant.

They each had a life of their own before they met, and while they are together. That is a really hard concept for DCUMers to fathom.

They broke up in late December (when he met Gisele) and Moynihan confirmed that she was pregnant in February, but the kid was born in July. It's possible she missed two periods before she realized she was pregnant, but more likely that they knew before the breakup.

I'm pro-divorce. Maybe the relationship has run its course. They'll both find someone else quickly.
