I haven’t read this entire thread, but my theory on their current spat is that he told her he’d retire, she signed some professional contracts and made some plans… and he surprises her by going back to work.
So she’s pissed because she has to pull out of her commitments.

This. He has been here longer than others. And his workout has changed. When I did crossfit my face changed a lot like his -- less body fat -- chin became more pronounced.

Tom Brady reportedly got permission to take every Wednesday off this season to be with his family, in the hopes it will be enough to reconcile and get Gisele to move back into their home. The real test is whether she comes to his home opener this weekend since she never misses his home games.

Gisele did not attend the game and the Bucs lost, due in significant part to game mismanagement by Brady. Between last week’s tablet throwing and this week’s mess, his marriage issues sure seem to be in his head this season.

I saw that Page Six article but read it differently. People keep framing the debate as over Brady playing in the NFL or not, which misses the point. If Brady had stayed retired but threw himself 150% into other business ventures that took him away from home just as much, they would be having the same issues. The problem is not the NFL, it is Brady making decisions that are 100% for him without any consideration of how those decisions affect the rest of the family. He seemingly took for granted in making this decision that he could do whatever he wanted and Gisele would mop up behind him, never mind that she has her own professional goals and made commitments under the expectation that he would be home more, because that’s what he promised to do. She’s reached her limit on playing that role in their marriage.

That she missed his home opener because she is in New York for photo shoots and business meetings says it all.
