NFL players' lives are extremely regimented. I think Tom thrived on it, but she was tired of everything in their lives being about the NFL and also hated the weather in New England.

I saw one of the NFL team buses when I was on a trip staying at a Marriott hotel. Bus roles up and 200 player spouses, children, and other relatives are there all together in some strange city. It's like being on tour.

It stands to reason that an NFL spouse is willing to make the sacrifices when the player is the only earner in the family, but she had brand deals and modeling that she lost out on because of his career.

She continued to work and travel and outearned him! I don’t know where this idea came from that she was stuck at home with the kids just doing nothing. She was and is a business woman and has been throughout their lives. She also has a house in Brazil and often went there. You should read up in her and her successes rather than assuming she is a victim or was hard done by.

Okay yes, but the bottom line is that his life was controlled by the NFL, which affected all family activities. Maybe she just did not like having the NFL schedule determine when they could go on vacation.
