Are you with Tom Brady or with Gisele Bundchen?

I saw that Page Six article but read it differently. People keep framing the debate as over Brady playing in the NFL or not, which misses the point. If Brady had stayed retired but threw himself 150% into other business ventures that took him away from home just as much, they would be having the same issues. The problem is not the NFL, it is Brady making decisions that are 100% for him without any consideration of how those decisions affect the rest of the family. He seemingly took for granted in making this decision that he could do whatever he wanted and Gisele would mop up behind him, never mind that she has her own professional goals and made commitments under the expectation that he would be home more, because that’s what he promised to do. She’s reached her limit on playing that role in their marriage.

That she missed his home opener because she is in New York for photo shoots and business meetings says it all.

She had no problem with it when he was carrying on with her very publicly while his heartbroken ex gf was pregnant with his child. He showed her who he was then and she was a willing participant. Boo hoo.

Well, that’s true. Everyone knows that when pregnancy is involved you should stay together regardless of whether the relationship has run it’s course. That’s why we have such a thriving and healthy Relationships forum here on this fine website.

I still have questions about the break up. Did they know she was pregnant when they broke up? I always thought they broke up and then very shortly after she found out she was pregnant.

You are correct. But the Brady haters have little else.

They broke up in late December (when he met Gisele) and Moynihan confirmed that she was pregnant in February, but the kid was born in July. It's possible she missed two periods before she realized she was pregnant, but more likely that they knew before the breakup.
Is that true that she confirmed she was pregnant in February? Everything I've read said that Febraruy is when Brady told Gisele. We know Tom met Gisele in December of 2006 and his oldest son was born on August 22nd. I think it's questionable whether or not Brady knew about the pregnancy when he met Gisele. We know that the day after Tom told Giselse about the pregnancy it was out in the press. So he probably got word that it would be coming out the following day and was forced to tell Giselse so she didn't find out with the rest of the world.

It has nothing to do with him working. He signed a big money deal with Fox to do football when he retires. He will be on the road every week of the season at least Thursday to Sunday. She knew this and approved -- so it is not about working. I doubt he did this without talking to her. He was always not going to be around. Sources are saying this is other issues. She has left him before.

Hadn't he and BM broken up when she found out she was pregnant?
She got the best deal, IMO. Lots of child support and no Tom Brady to put up with. Let's just hope the kid inherited her brain.

According to this, Moynihan confirmed she was pregnant in February, but I was wrong and the kid was born in August, not July. So the timing is incredibly messy and she might have been pregnant but not yet aware when Tom & Gisele met. https://www.usmagazine.com/celebrities/bridget-moynahan/

Being on Fox vs. playing is a completely different ball game. If he is playing, especially at this age, he is spending ALL of his waking time either training by himself or with the team. It's worse than being divorced, it's like being a single parent.

I think he bolted when he found out she was pregnant. He did not want a long term relationship with her and the baby hastened the exit. It's so low rent to splash your new gf all over the press while your ex is newly pregnant.

Why would he have to be on the road every week for his Fox deal? He’s not going to be a sideline commentator, they’ll probably move to L.A. where Fox NFL Sunday is produced and he’ll be working locally. They only live in Tamp now because he went to the Bucs.

Moynahan gave an interview in 2008 in which she indicated that she did not find out she was pregnant until after they broke up.

Of course she did. If the dude making all the money for my child is getting endorsements I'm also going to lie to keep it clean.

Agreed. He assumed she'd always handle the home and the kids, doubt he behaved all that differently in the off-season. Football is a factor, but the reality is probably true, as Page Six now says, that they grew apart.

I can understand Gisele’s frustration. What I don’t understand is that if she thinks it’s finally her turn and wants to focus on her career, doesn’t divorcing Tom make it more difficult for her? Tom wants to spend more time with his oldest son and Gisele and Tom’s two kids are still young too.

No, he'd be responsible for them 50% of the time. About damn time, if you ask me. He has two teen boys who need an engaged dad.

Oh shut up, lol. You have no idea how it went down. It’s not like he could withhold child support without looking awful if she said he was an ass.
