I wonder why so many homeopathic remedies are bought from whole foods again and again. I guess we should all be happy with the myriad side effects from 'allopathic' remedies. |

| How about you take kids away from their parents as soon as the parents aren't required to sign a form stating that they have been told and understand the risks of the vaccine and understand that they have no right to sue the physician and pharmaceutical company for any damage the vaccine causes to their child. This form is required before vaccines are administered. |

I question the whooping cough thing. My son got this last year and he had been vaccinated for it. I also know of two other families in the area who got it and their kids were vaccinated too. The ER doc at Fairfax said they were seeing this more.
Just saying… I wonder whether the increase in whooping cough is actually due to kids not being vaccinated. Not the case for my son. |

Yes, it is. Not everyone's immune system is stimulated in the same way, so we rely on herd immunity. The more people who are not vaccinated, the more vulnerable the entire herd. |

First of all, Africa is not a part of the anti-vax movement. Guess that's for comparison.
Secondly, PP no one has ever asked me to sign a waiver of liability. In fact there is a compensation find for anyone to apply for if they think they've been harmed by a vaccine, it's run by the government to mediate settlements on behalf of manufacturers. |

Nope. For all medical treatments we should do the cost benefit analysis to ask whether the side effects are less harmful than the symptoms being treated. We should always be looking for new medicines and treatments with better efficacy and fewer/less severe side effects. But nothing associated with what you call "allopathic" medicines changes the fact that there is no evidence that homeopathic remedies actually work, and, at a more basic level, principles of homeopathy would, if true, violate laws of physics and chemistry. There's a lot of psychology behind why people would keep buying homeopathic remedies, but the industry that produces them knows they're selling nothing more than distilled water. |
