The damage done by anti-vax lunatics in a map

Anonymous

How about you take kids away from their parents as soon as the parents aren't required to sign a form stating that they have been told and understand the risks of the vaccine and understand that they have no right to sue the physician and pharmaceutical company for any damage the vaccine causes to their child. This form is required before vaccines are administered.

They can sue the Government instead under the Vaccine Injury Compensation Program. And, if they don't like the verdict under that program, with its lenient standards of proof, by law, they can reject it and sue the manufacturer regardless of what they signed. So it really isn't relevant.

But nothing associated with what you call "allopathic" medicines changes the fact that there is no evidence that homeopathic remedies actually work, and, at a more basic level, principles of homeopathy would, if true, violate laws of physics and chemistry.

There's a lot of psychology behind why people would keep buying homeopathic remedies, but the industry that produces them knows they're selling nothing more than distilled water.

however, it would not violate the laws of quantum physics.water carries information through nano-particles. I read some studies by this guy - http://www2.tau.ac.il/nano/researcher.asp?id=agdfekegd

it's fasinating. Homeopathy does make sense on the quantum level.

What? This is a stupid map. Africa isn't a part of the "anti-vaccination movement." It's underdeveloped.

omg people. learn to read. it's a map of diseases that can be prevented by vaccination, not a map of anti vaccine sentiment. levels in wealthy developed areas are similar OR HIGHER than levels in poor areas that can't afford vaccines. that is the message.

Which is exactly why the second paragraph reads, "Measles is endemic in the underdeveloped world because of the unavailability of the MMR (measles, mumps and rubella) vaccine."

Which you'd know, if you read the article...

In my own view, any parent that refuses to vax or go by an alternative schedule than what empirical scientific research recommends, deserves to have their children removed from their custody and be declared unfit.

Ok, let's say that happens. How many children are you personally willing to take in and provide for for the rest of their lives?

Two, I suppose. But I would presume they become wards of the state. Yours was an idiotic question. I wasn't offering to be their guardian.

And where do you think wards of the state live these days? Foster care with foster parents.

Your solution is idiotic much like yourself.

Secondly, PP no one has ever asked me to sign a waiver of liability. In fact there is a compensation find for anyone to apply for if they think they've been harmed by a vaccine, it's run by the government to mediate settlements on behalf of manufacturers.

Yes, you have signed the waiver, you just never bothered to read it. No doctor is risking a malpractice suit on like not getting the waiver signed. Doctors know that every vaccine carries a risk and their protection is that they informed you and you signed.

Those kids would be much better off with foster parents than with parents who would knowingly and willingly subject them to deadly, disfiguring diseases.

Unfortunately, we don't HAVE herd immunity from Pertussis -- and it is primarily due to adults with waning immunity, moreso than anti-vaxers. Both are problems.

Not exactly - the government is not mediating settlements on behalf of manufacturers - it is either compensating, settling, or defending the cases. The money is paid out of a trust funded by an excise tax that on vaccines.

I guess you won't be engaging with modern healthcare at all, if you can't understand the point of a medical release form. Life is full of risk sweet pea, and your weak brain is a poor judge of which are worth getting your knickers in a twist over and which are not.

Interesting. Could you point me to one of the studies that links the use of nano-particles with homeopathic principles? Or a study that shows how information communicated at the quantum level has medically beneficial effects?

If we can't neuter people, we can't force vaccines.
Anonymous
No, we can't force people to vaccinate, but we can call the ones who don't based on fake silence out for the ignorant fucktards that they are.
